Another thing, what makes an opinion incorrect?

Were gonna have a L O N G wait......I am in wait and see mode. Piston Peak might actually be better than Radiator Springs visually. I think Imagineering knows they need to bring some of that Tokyo/Shanghai magic to Florida.
Don't worry, Liberty Square and Frontierland will eventually be gone too. Destroyed and replaced with something....I think the removal (at least of the ROA and Liberty Belle) will be detrimental to the experience of being in Liberty Square, Frontierland.
They can have VW Beetles flying around.I have no nostalgia for Tom Sawyer Island; I'm not sure I ever stepped foot there. I assume I did at least once as a kid, but I have no memory of it. I also don't have any memory of riding the Liberty Belle, although again I'm sure I probably did as a kid.
I don't really care about removing them from an attraction standpoint. However, I think the removal (at least of the ROA and Liberty Belle) will be detrimental to the experience of being in Liberty Square, Frontierland, and even riding BTMR, if not the park as a whole. Of course my mind could change when Cars is actually complete and we see how it looks and fits in with the surroundings, but the concept art isn't reassuring.
I also have separate issues with Cars going here in general; I don't think it makes sense. They have framed it (at least to an extent) as a nature based attraction, but I think the Cars IP is a bad fit for that -- e.g., animals don't exist in the Cars IP. In an ideal world they would have ripped up the Tomorrowland Speedway and placed a Cars attraction there instead of adding TRON (not that Cars would be a good fit for Tomorrowland either, but the Speedway is kind of between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland, and it already doesn't really fit).
It’s not just animals. A reoccurring gag in the Cars movies is natural forms that also look like car parts. This area is Piston Peak and we have art of giant pistons in the new landscape. Pistons that’s are so important that Liberty Square and Frontierland were built around it.I also have separate issues with Cars going here in general; I don't think it makes sense. How on earth is DAK not still having a cohesive theme? Tropical america does not ruin the integrity of the parkJust out of curiosity. By 2028, Will animal kingdom have a cohesive theme? If not, why not rename it to “Random Disney Adventure park”?
MK- Fantasy, nostalgiaMr. Penguin, can you point to a cohesive them for any of the four parks?
Please don’t just post a picture of young Peter Quill in front of the Epcot ball.
And if people are still questioning how Guardians fits in with celebrating human achievement...MK- Fantasy, nostalgia
Epcot- Celebrates human achievement and global connection
DAK- the beauty and balance of nature
DHS- stepping into movies
Technically global connection applies… it’s just fictionalAnd if people are still questioning how Guardians fits in with celebrating human achievement...
Epcot-ians behold your true god!

I was going to point out that Indiana Jones and Encanto aren't about animals or nature, but I know that it'll just lead to post after post of "No, they fit! They're gonna make it fit!".DAK- the beauty and balance of nature
So you answered your own question then.I was going to point out that Indiana Jones and Encanto aren't about animals or nature, but I know that it'll just lead to post after post of "No, they fit! They're gonna make it fit!".
What a tiresome argument. Can't we just treat everyone with respect, try not to be too judgemental, and assume that you only speak for yourself and not others?
Yikes.
Disney seems to have been trying to copy Universal's playbook since Potter.Of course, they haven't always been perfect, and they never will be. You are obviously welcome to your incorrect opinion. (That's a joke. Joking with each other is something we used to do in olden days.) I'm not, though, joking about Frontierland showing the passage of time a bit weak. I don't dislike your idea, it's creative to be sure I just feel like that's still just explaing away something that doesn't fit in an eloquent way. It still doesn't fit. Things can change. Themes can change. Individual attractions can be mind-blowing, boring, and everything in between. But I will still argue that basing everything on IP and plunking it down wherever, all willy nilly, or in little minilands with one attraction or one decent attraction and a flat ride is a page right out of Universal's playbook. Like I said before, I like Universal. But what they offer has always lacked the cohesive soul of what Disney managed to do in the past.
Since when have cars been harmful to nature? (sarcasm)I also have separate issues with Cars going here in general; I don't think it makes sense. They have framed it (at least to an extent) as a nature based attraction, but I think the Cars IP is a bad fit for that
Much as I don't like them adding this attraction, I don't believe we will hear much at all.So how intrusive will those car sounds be in the line for HM, walking to Country Bears, or riding along the outdoor bend on Splash?
