Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Not in the foreseeable future. The only one I'd really have interest in is Tokyo.

I’m still hearing that Tokyo DisneySea is the most beautiful Disney park, to date.
Shortly after our first family WDW trip back in early July of 2001, we started receiving a complimentary subscription to a quarterly Disney magazine, long-since defunct. The main article in the first issue we received was all about the soon-to-be-open Tokyo DisneySea. It all looked so amazing, and pics and video we’ve seen since bear that out. We’d, obviously, still do both parks, but DisneySea would be the main reason for the trip.
Still on the “Bucket List”…!!! ;) :)

Not at #4 yet! Interesting Note: I watched a video on YouTube and it listed the first three (plus others) as a sign of genius. So I got that going for me!
It was online so it must be true.
On that same day I also watched one that said, with the greatest of confidence, that to remain healthy everyone should eat 4 eggs a day. (Cooked not raw)
What way they were to be cooked, Fried, Hard Boiled, Soft Boiled, Scrambled, Poached or Microwaved, they didn't' detail.

Discount Tire fun, earlier today.
Carolyn came out to a flat rear drivers side tire this morning. I drove her to work, then went back home to see if it would hold air long enough to get me here…no dice. Put the donut spare on, and it was half flat. :cyclops: Had to pull out the air compressor again, and, fortunately, the donut held.
Also, fortunately, the puncture was in the tread (not a sidewall - replacement would have been $153.28, mounted, balanced and installed), so it was fixed for free…they do that, even for tires they didn’t sell you…!!! :)

That's #1 on my international park bucket list. Wishful thinking for now.

SiS, BiL, and my nieces took a southern China vacation last year. Spent some days in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, bullet train to Guilin, and (I know I'm gonna butcher the spelling without checking on Google first), but Yangshuao(?)

They went to HKDL as their first ever international Disney visit.
Said the park was gorgeous, visually their favorite castle park, but the absence of big names such as POTC and Splash/Tiana's was certainly felt.

Japan and Tokyo Disney might be on their itinerary sometime in the distant future.

Yes, I bought my last set of tires from Discount Tire almost three years ago. You can't swing a dead squirrel without hitting some building project and with that come nails that fall off a truck onto the highway. I have picked up two since I bought them and they repaired both of them plus they offer free rotation every 5K miles, which I have done. No hassle, they just do it. I would recommend them to anyone. 26000 miles later they still look like new.

I know enough about Japan, in general, and their Disney parks to have a true desire to travel there. I know less about China and HKDL, but, I will admit, I have no desire to ever travel there anyway.
I’m glad they all had a great time, though…!!! :)

Too funny, as in the timing…!!!!! ;):hilarious:
I inspected that tire up one side and down the other and have no clue what punctured it. Whatever did didn’t end up staying in the tire.
What I like is that DT doesn’t just put a plug in a flat…they drill it out a bit to clean it up, put a rubber plug in it and then also put a patch on the inside…!!! :)

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
They announced that baby will be out on April 22, Earth Day. I'm having knee surgery on April 1, so definitely won't be mobile enough at that point to get back down, but at some point during the summer. Maybe if the 11 year old cousin is up for the summer, I'll take him to DC one day.
What kind of knee surgery? 🙁

Cartilage removal.

Back in December 2021, my dad and I were riding bikes on the beach in Hilton Head. The brakes on that bike were NOT very good, and we should not have been riding at high tide. He stopped short and I crashed into him. Broke my right middle finger and messed up my knee.

PCL is torn and has been, but that knee hasn't been right. I finally saw surgeon #3 who said that when that happens, the cartilage gets killed off and slowly can start causing issues. He said there's a piece of cartilage that's likely catching there and causing the knee to give way.

It needs to be fixed. It gave out when I was carrying a suitcase down some steps last June, and I broke/sprained my ankle so bad that it had to be fixed surgically. Fortunately, the knee surgery should be an easier recovery than ankle surgery was. I had the surgery back in September and only was able to stop physical therapy at the end of February.

This will be Ortho surgery #4 and overall surgery #7. *sigh* Three since the beginning of last year; gallbladder had to come out last February.

Hi all. I don't have time to catch up, but just wanted to check in. My father-in-law is on his way out. We're just waiting for the call that he's gone. My husband and his brother are there with him. He never really got better after his pneumonia in January when my MIL passed and we never really expected him to make it long after she died, but I don't think any of us were expecting it to be quite this soon. Anyway.... I'm still here, just dealing with life and haven't really had much time to come here. I'm sorry I can't catch up properly. Hope everyone is doing well.
