Meeting ended.
Josh: "I've talked to our Imagineers and they suggested trying turning it off and on again."do you think d'amaro expected to be tech support so much today?
Q: How do you balance growth in cost with guest satisfaction.
Josh: We're always looking at GSAT. And WRT cost, we try to have some bargains. And need to balance attendance.
[We have coupons!!!]
That's not really hard to do.Okay so regardless of what could happen, positive or negative for the company, Josh comes across as likeable, charming, and capable. Far more than Capek ever did.
I guess they changed the premise of the COP's next refurb and that song will be a surprise which is why they have not said anything since the initial announcement.I saw an internet rumor that Josh will have a theme song called "There's a Great Big Beautiful D'Amaro" and I really want this to be true.
I would argue it is hard to be a decent speaker, that likeable, and capable. All of those skills together can often be hard to find but 100% necessary as a CEO of a company such as Disney. I would argue that Josh is one of the more likable CEOs we've had period from prior interactions with him. We also know he can definitely speak well. Now it's time to see how capable he is.That's not really hard to do.
Haven’t seen you in awhile.I think Figment is definitely before SSE and sooner rather than later.
Oh they know, they just choose to repeat "alternate facts" that don't go counter to the narrative the comms people structure. This is the typical Disney MO in which they will never admit a problem but just rather focus on something that can be construed to be a positive.Ask the guests directly what they think of the cost and what their experience was. These CEO's are so insulated from reality --they really aren't interested they say what Wall Street wants to hear
Most of the presidents have been obviously reading off a script for many years until recently. Not that I approve of the current approach, eitherEvery word out of his mouth was carefully scripted and reviewed by an entire team. It's the type of thing that would have made Bill Clinton blush, when he was at his prime.
I'm willing to pay $10 for entrance into the parks.Ask the guests directly what they think of the cost and what their experience was. These CEO's are so insulated from reality --they really aren't interested they say what Wall Street wants to hear
