Soarin’ Across America to replace Soarin’ Around the World for Nation’s 250th Birthday

I’m talking about a custom film for the Pavilion vs. a generic film.

Soarin Over California was custom for DCA for example.
I understand what you’re saying, but what would you include? Are we flying over vast farmland and forests? Not saying these aren’t important but I’m not sure it works for this attraction. I don’t think I’d want to see a “Living with the Land” version of Soarin’. 🤷‍♂️

I'm not sure what you're asking. Soarin' Over California (formerly known as simply "Soarin'") was around for a while. Soarin' Around the World was around for a while. This one can last beyond the 250th anniversary of the U.S. also.
While I agree this should stick around if done right (aka better than “world”), didn’t they mention that this would have a temporary run?

Unfortunately, the current powers that be like to replicate things in different regional parks even if they are not a fit by theme or sizing because they are of a one size fits all mentality once budget has been spent. What may be an upgrade in one location when deployed to another might be a downgrade as it doesnt fit the deployed space in size or theme.

True, but this new film is a no brainer for the domestic parks for the 250th.

"Soarin' Over Soarin'". The video is just a projection of the inside of the hanger you are already in.

Soarin’ Into Soren - An homage to Body Wars where you you follow white blood cells fighting an infection inside former MTV VJ Tabitha Soren
Soarin' Over Sauron.
Give one to the Tolkien fans.

I wasn't asking anything; I'm simply wondering how long it will be the 250th anniversary version; not assuming that it will only be until the actual anniversary. Of course Disney does things for extended periods of time; the Disneyland 70th celebration is approx. 13 months.

Aside from the various Frozen lands, this is true of basically nothing in the current pipeline, unless it's a refurb or overlay of something already replicated.

Just because this was inspired by America's 250th anniversary doesn't mean it has to be around only for the anniversary. Let's be honest. The original now entitled Soarin' Over California set the bar and is still the best. Soarin' Around the World meant well but it overstayed it's welcome with obvious CGI transitions and bent buildings. (The Eiffel Tower was so bad they needed a new shot). It's time for a new version -- in the U.S. anyway. I'm hoping it's better than "World" and merits the distinction of staying power.
