Yeah I think this is the first time I've seen that wording on an opening. Guess it's on an "it will open when it opens" basis.

I’m looking forward to this, and I certainly expect to enjoy it more than Soarin around the world and I’m hoping there is no CGI created scenes.
However, I think it’s funny that this attraction has never fit its location at Epcot- first it was soaring over California, which at least showcased the diversity of land and how it’s used in a large state with a lot of variety of land.
Then it was soaring over the world, which would’ve been a fit for the entrance to world showcase. Now this version of Soarin would be a great addition to the American pavilion.
I suppose I should be thankful that it fits the theme of Epcot at all but still I hope that one day they do a custom show for this pavilion that truly is Soarin over the land.

So what just flying over empty areas of wilderness? Seems like just based on the picture of the Grand Canyon alone this upcoming version will be the best fit.

I'm not sure what you're asking. Soarin' Over California (formerly known as simply "Soarin'") was around for a while. Soarin' Around the World was around for a while. This one can last beyond the 250th anniversary of the U.S. also.

"Soarin' Over Soarin'". The video is just a projection of the inside of the hanger you are already in.
What’s the best parts of America? Most people would say our National Parks. What’s one of the crown jewel national parks? Grand Canyon. Worthy choice.

I’m talking about a custom film for the Pavilion vs. a generic film.
Soarin Over California was custom for DCA for example.
