DHS Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular Boulder Incident

You are right, but be careful what you wish for. They could simply shutter attractions and do nothing 😡 I find my self rationalizing “It’s better than nothing”

** Warning, non factual, hypothetical comment follows **

If/When Josh decides to bulldoze Indy at DHS, we my go 5 to 7 years with nothing in that spot while they move dirt around.
🤣on the disclaimer. Well done, extra points for snarkiness at people that give you grief (like me)

In my opinion - ** Warning non fact speculation to follow**

Lets say they wanted to close it to change it.
They would wait for a D23 to announce plans, with a concept rendering.
Then some time will pass.
Then walls would go up.
Then some time would pass.
Then updated concept or play map will be released.
Then some time would pass.
Then destruction would happen.
Then some time will pass,
Then construction would happen for 3 to 5 years as the scope gets cut
;)
Idk if they'll announce it this year or 2028, but I'd be surprised if they didn't settle on the next phase, instead of just having a lot of blue sky plans, by 2028.

This one might be too soon, though the Avatar Land at DCA should've probably been announced during this one instead, I imagine they also have competing visions at AK

Here's hoping for a new EPCOT ride and DLP getting one too! And an AK night show.

That is the true definition of a hero. Somebody knowingly putting themselves in harms way to protect others. I hope he is rewarded for what he did. He deserves some kind of honor. I'm glad he ended up OK and will just end up with a scar to remember the experience by.
He really was.

You gotta know Disney is so thankful he did that.

I feel like this show won’t last the decade.
It’s because we will be getting the sequel to the show in a few years titled:

“Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular: Temple of Doom Edition”

Here Disney will showcase burning hearts being extracted, short round kicking butt, and a dramatic rope bridge drop. Coming 2030, see ya soon!

I have gone to the show everytime that I visited DHS. I always enjoyed it and it bothers me a little that those that don't like it always want to deprive others of things they might enjoy. Just walk past it and push for Disney to create ADDITIONAL attractions and not just replace one. Especially one that is a massive people eater. There are new people making their first visit to WDW and have never seen it but might like the show. Don't advocate destroying something that is new to everyone that has never been to DHS and just demand adding new ones to the "Blessing in size" land of Disney.

I’d rather Disney invest in creating something new in a new area instead of doing yet another retheme of an already popular attraction or show

If anything, they should simply restore the show back to the way it was before the pandemic.

I would prefer it if shows only lasted about a decade. I would say sooner but a decade seems to be long enough. I can't event tell you the last time I saw Indy. 7 or 8 years at least. Good show, extremely long run, time for something else.
Agreed.

It’s why I just can’t be mad about MuppetVision.

I totally get their line of reasoning, if it was a ride it would’ve been ludicrous, but it’s just not.

It feels like Animation Courtyard won't be touched again for next decade with the current conversion to Disney Studios, so once Monstropolis is done they don't have that many options for adding new lands to the park that don't require a ton of work.

Taking out Indy and Backlot to expand into the parking lot, and retheming Star Tours seems like most probable next step.

You could also connect the new land to the Door Coaster plaza, removing that dead end.

A third Batuu attraction and a Star Wars table service are the easiest wins.
