MK Piston Peak and Villains Land Construction Thread

An opinion about something that isn’t real is less interesting to me than opinions about things that are real.
Says the person with a giant mouse as his avatar…. 😉

Since it seems the post that started this line of discussion is no longer here, what are you referring to?

At what point in the construction process does Villain’s Land or Piston Peak become “real”?

And conversely, if something (RoA) is destroyed, is it still real? I’d say yes - because it once existed. So having an opinion on it being destroyed is just as valid as an opinion on what is replacing it.

I know but what are the facts that those opinions are based on. The only facts we have right now are that there are drawings, the RoA has gone dry, they are forming a land mass and the plans call for Cars and villains. I may have missed something in the thread that spelled that out, but I don't know anything else. Unless I do an opinion is just an opinion. Fact is fact and two completely different things.

We are going to have years and years to discuss this. I guess the only things we can call facts are the photos of the ongoing construction.

I do not know if concept drawings and/or fun maps have anything to with the facts on the ground (just my opinion)

I think if fine if folks give opinions, guesses, speculations, its just human nature and its just plain fun. Its also human nature for some to be triggered by opinions, guesses, speculations.

I have a feeling this thread is going to be very very long before anything is open for previews.

Personally just happy to see them already doing concrete and actual building. Plus think Frontierland and Tomorrowland need water the most so I am happy there's at least some water features already being worked on
Disney is moving way faster than a lot of the naysayers thought they would. WDW is a literal construction site with no delays.
opinions are great but there is a seperate thread for that. this is specifically the construction updates thread...
Exactly.

But you’re preaching to the choir with this one and nothing is gonna change.

I wonder if EPCOT’s delays + the fact that it took away such a beautiful area of MK makes them want to stop the bleeding as quickly as possible
I doubt it, they are moving at exactly the pace they want to be. Lots to get done here and their goal is fairly short. You never know what might happen along the way but DL got through the river transformation and MK will too
