I thought of “virtually augmented” - but have no clue what that would mean.And doesn’t seem to fit with his viewpoint either.

Agreed that Tron is definitely a little short. Though it is actually the same length as Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at just around 1 minute from launch to final brakes. I think part of the perception that it is short comes from the fact that the first portion is outside and not "in the grid".
I really like both experiences though, but TRON feels more like an actual roller coaster to me, where the speed and gravity are creating the thrills, whereas Guardians feels more akin to a controlled experience, having the programmed rotating account for much of the thrill.
I also like that TRON doesn't really have a pre-show while Guardians has two extremely long, cringey pre-shows. Pre-shows are fine, and sometimes great, but not always best for coasters with high re-rideability.

It is an expensive $22 for 3170 feet of track.
GoG is $22 for 5577feet of track.
Over at AK, $19 gets you 3884 feet of EE track, plus the additional LL included with LLMP.
In all seriousness, I will ride TRON if the wait isn't bad, but I'd rather skip it than pay the ILL upcharge.
My favorite Orlando Vekoma is Velocicoaster. The last barrel roll over the water amazes me every time. A great way to start the morning!
IMO, the best way to enjoy TRON is to ride it with arms outstretched Superman style. The game aspect is somewhat lame, because we, the riders, don't actually DO anything. WDW also dropped one of the coolest parts of the ride: the preshow with the big reveal. I'm glad I got so see it while it was operating.

And to clarify on most of my projects I maintain a Value Analysis Log where we offer an analysis of the different opportunities we think are available on any given job. Yes most of them are cost reduction opportunities but some ideas that are thrown out there end up being cost adds and it is worth showing that as part of your log to the owner so they can understand the trade offs they might be making overall. But yeah hence why I just say VA instead of VE

For reference RnRC is 3267 feet, so slightly longer than TRON.
Since I mentioned it, Velocicoaster is 4700 feet long.
Hagrid's is 5053 feet.
EE is 3885 feet, but almost 3minutes.

I wished TRON would come to WDW because I know I would never go to China and I got my wish. It’s a great attraction, they just got to work on the up keep. I rode it not too long after opening and the padding on some vehicles were all torn up and we have all seen the dirt/mold issue.
The lighting in the canopy is great and they could do a light/music show with the canopy if they wanted to and it would be great!

And the TRON reveal is awesome.
Such an great idea and basically adds no queue time for repeat riders.

It appears the hate this ride gets, at least among superfans, is way overblown.
It’s not a Shanghai Pirates, Rise, or Cosmic Rewind scale, but it’s literally as long as RNRC, and actually remarkably unique.
