Paint The Night Parade Comes Back Next Year For DL’s 70th Anniversary

I think Disneyland keeps dancing around the type of parade that is needed and that’s a copy of Dreamlights, meaning a modern version of MSEP with the same music everyone loves and the same or similar floats mixed with new. PTN and now Starlight at WDW only have nods to MSEP and I don’t think that’s good enough for most fans. Not saying PTN is not popular, because it is, and it should still exist but maybe as a special seasonal parade or permanently at DCA while a modern MSEP is ran more often.

In a perfect world DL and WDW would've both gotten their own Dreamlights, but I doubt neither park wants to fund the size of it all.

People are happy to be reliving the "nostalgia" of it, but imo, even though they are not very good at it at the moment, something more modern is needed that gives the same feel. If only DLE had a parade that had the same feeling as MSEP but more modern and grander... hmm.

I do not hate MSEP but to consistently pull it out of storage is just an eye-roll at this point. Especially when the only update was a restyled unit.

You know sometimes I get the feeling that sometimes CMs post ideas here just to gauge reaction before presenting them up the chain for a decision.

I don't think that a return of MSEP for the 100x will get the reaction this time that they think it will.
