Not anticipating the new godawful Kermit voice
Not happening, but the nit picky guitarist in me wishes they’d ditch the Strat for a Les Paul shaped guitar since that’s what Janice normally plays.
As an owner of both, I’d like a Les Paul too!
The Strat is pure sex appeal.

Yeah, but building a new Gibson? It'd probably fall apart in a month.
It is already missing a headstock so maybe it should be changed.
Hence why out of my 6 LP shaped guitars only 2 are Gibson.
I always loved my OG Epiphone…
Never owned one but know several who swear by them
I think you at least need to consider one of these.
Those guitars were/are made in China…mine was built by Gibson in the US in the late 60’s…but they ARE awesome guitars…
My guess is that Montropolis won't open for over 18 months, but Muppets and Animation are due later this year.I wonder what kept them from adding 'Future home of Monstropolis' over at the former courtyard. They did it at AK for Tropical
OH, yeah I see why you swear by yours. Though I'll say, in recent times (well, semi-recent, I haven't really held a new one of either in probably a decade), I'd take the Epiphone over the Gibson. It was insane to me a $3,000 Gibson had to have a bunch of work done to it before you even left the store (sorry, going way off topic). Those guitars were/are made in China…mine was built by Gibson in the US in the late 60’s…but they ARE awesome guitars…
Well, you're not getting Jim Henson. Although... they could pull a James Earl Jones and re-create Kermit's voice from Jim Henson recordings using AI.Not anticipating the new godawful Kermit voice
I am not sure about the ethical implications of that.Well, you're not getting Jim Henson. Although... they could pull a James Earl Jones and re-create Kermit's voice from Jim Henson recordings using AI.
Obviously, sign off from the family. James Earl Jones already made an agreement with Disney before his death so that Disney could continue voicing Vader.I am not sure about the ethical implications of that.
It never does at Disney.ethics wouldn't really enter into it....
IF that is indeed the case I would approve.Obviously, sign off from the family.
I'm glad that Disney and the Henson estate have your authorization. Goodness knows, this couldn't happen without that.IF that is indeed the case I would approve.
I go to Disney a lot and I'm pretty sure I'll be there soon. If they are still available I would be more than happy to pick some up for you and mail them to you!Am I about to pay a scalper an exorbitant amount of money (relative to what they are worth) for these in the near future?
Yes. Yes I am.
Honestly, this was Vogel's best Kermit performance he's done so far.I'll go on the hill. After EVERYTHING I've heard about that Kermit voice, it was not NEARLY as bad as people have made it out to be when I saw the reboot. Far from perfect, but it was not the distraction I was expecting.
He’s getting better and we are getting more used to it.Honestly, this was Vogel's best Kermit performance he's done so far.
He definitely still has a few kinks to work out (Keeping the voice for yelling, as "It's the Muppet Shoooowww!!!" was mostly Matt), but overall I agree this was his best as Kermit.Honestly, this was Vogel's best Kermit performance he's done so far.
I cannot imagine the people behind the current Muppets nor the Jim Henson Company (Jim’s kids) would approve of AI recreations of Jim’s voice.Well, you're not getting Jim Henson. Although... they could pull a James Earl Jones and re-create Kermit's voice from Jim Henson recordings using AI.
