News Old Key West Guest Photos to be Relocated to an Album and I'm disgruntled about it...

The lobby is an unforgivable offense. The pictures here were part of the charm, and we know what Bob/Josh/Jeff think about such things. It doesn’t ruin dining there but it’s another minus in their on-going refurb ledger.

While the pictures of guests created personal attachment to those imaged, it didn't do anything for most everyone else.

Ultimately, I guess this really isn’t much different than the “brick” walk pavers and the tombstones, other than the fact that those cost Guests money…?!
At least these will still remain in album form, but who, other than some folks who already know they’re in those pics, will take the time to bother looking through them…???

I quite enjoyed looking at them. It gave a sense of the “founding members” of the resort and of DVC.

At the same time though, photos really do need to be displayed properly to keep them in good condition.

I would suggest they rotate the albums they create, so that one is on display at Olivia’s to look through. That would keep the connection as well as curating them safely.
