What are smart phones required for at Disney Parks?

I meant an active one…. So obviously it’s within the year. To be clear I’m talking WDW.

Okies. I’m glad you have a recent one. I wish I did as well. It’s kind of a pain using your phone to show your AP status. The last 3-4 years or so we went to Guest Relations and were told the physical card was no longer offered.

When I bought one in person (MK guest relations window) they gave me one like it was normal procedure. I didn’t ask for it.

It’s literally a printed plastic card that says “annual passholder” - which is more than you used to get back in the good old days of “2 fingers” when it was just a paper card.

Of course I still miss my Premier pass….

I still have an AP card with my picture on it. That was back in the Good Ole days when if you were using Disney Bus transportation you had to show your paper resort ID card to the bus driver.

I got a plastic AP card at WDW on May of last year.
