Noticing the parks are better upkept

In general, I’m noticing an easier ability to get same-day reservations, cleaner side walks, more characters walking around.

I will say; Star Tours feels far more like Star Wars than the land, like no hate for it in its entirety, but it’s not Star Wars, but besides the point.

Food is also better than it has been. All the new restaurants actually serve food you’d eat outside of the resort. Roundup BBQ was a pleasant surprise.

So while the parks are more expensive, we’re getting refreshes all the time and huge expansions, and a much better than COVID era upkeep.

Lots to criticize about the Iger era, but Josh is positioned if he has the right ideas to really succeed.

I mean even Disneyland Parc Paris has been completely overhauled to get things up to the Disney standard.

It’s nice to see.

Anyone else noticing this?

Jealous, you’ve been to DLP and the US parks recently?

Curious to know what food improvements you’ve noticed?

DLP though started the process during the Covid shutdown in terms of upkeep. And ever since then it’s been in a continuous state of maintenance and upgrade projects from both parks, resorts and Disney Village. In that respect it puts the US parks to shame, which really should be brought up to the Paris standard.

They have food. And also drinks. And also desserts. That are better.
Docking Bay 7, Skipper Canteen, Harambe Market, Woody’s Lunchbox, Regal Eagle, Tiffins, Nomad Lounge, Connections Eatery, now even Woody’s Round-Up BBQ. Last 10 years have brought us a step up over the previous 10.

It gets even bigger when you factor in restaurants at Disney Springs like Morimoto Asia.

All significant improvements over the ABC Commissary, Peco’s Bill, and Cosmic Rays we used to get.

Universal is doing the same. Go to Epic and the food quality is leaps and bounds over their existing parks.

It's not the restaurant. It's the menu and quality of ingredients used. There's a reason food and menu quality dropped precipitously.

ABC had its menu updated. Pecos Bills was good until they gutted the menu and toppings bar. Cosmic Rays has had better offerings, and still does from time to time.

We found the food at DLP to be rather good. When did you visit? Where did you dine?

DLP is so much worse than WDW overall.

This isn’t even a contest.

The Cosmic Ray's chocolate cake used to hit pretty hard though.
