MK Cinderella Castle Set to Return to Classic Color Scheme

Maybe you need to stop eating crayons because YOU wrote a few posts above:

The rose-gold was the color scheme for the 50th. It was NOT the reason the castle was repainted.

Maybe lay off huffing the rose gold paint

Stop being so deliberately obtuse. If you don't know what the difference is between a color scheme for a theme park anniversary and the paint color on the castle for a movie anniversary, my posts are not the problem.

lol, what are you talking about? What movie anniversary?? I think your posts are very much a problem in that they don’t make any sense

Hold on though. I thought this was the timeline:

It was painted rose gold in 2020, in time for Cindy’s anniversary.

It was left that colour for the 50th.

And the repainted to its original colours.

Correct.

From the Disney Parks Blog on Feb. 17, 2020:
"Cinderella first transformed into a princess 70 years ago this week when the animated classic was released—and ever since, her courage and kindness have been inspiring guests and cast members alike. We are excited to share that her story has inspired a bold, shimmering and royal makeover of her namesake castle at the heart of Walt Disney World Resort."

The pink that we all loathe was for Cindy 70th, not WDW 50th.

Additional decor was added for the 50th, but that was removed when the anniversary was over. The Castle was supposed to stay this color after the 50th because it wasn't painted for the 50th.

Finally, someone changed their mind

See my timeline above.

It was painted (pink-ish) for the 70th anniversary of the Cinderella movie.

Because that's planDisney, and well, it's planDisney. You likely know more than the panelists

Quick google searches show every article from that time saying the repaint was for the 50th and many use the term rose gold. I don’t write those articles 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yes
Then why is every other article out there referring to the repaint as a 50th edition? Seriously just very interested at why every other Disney news outlet posted that it was for the 50th as opposed for Cinderella movie anniversary. Why the confusion?

Lazy marketing. Only items that were added specifically were the darker roofs and the 50th medallion.

The subsequent decor that was added to the castle, which was designed around the new color scheme, was explicitly for the 50th, so many roll them together. The perception that they were part of the same makeover was exacerbated by the COVID closure, which pushed the two changes closer to one another.

All these refer to the previous paint as for the 50th
