HEA also ran without castle pyro and the 2nd starlight has been canceled, 1st one had no street preformers.I'm at epcot and Luminous is being shown without fireworks. I hopped from HS after Fantasmic was canceled there.
I have thick, fleece lined gloves. Because, ya know, I live in Maryland. If you can't cover your hands and face... you shouldn't be outside.
It kind of sounded like it. I decided I'd rather stand in line for Guardians.I'm at epcot and Luminous is being shown without fireworks. I hopped from HS after Fantasmic was canceled there.
Makes sense. The winds are so strong tonight.HEA also ran without castle pyro and the 2nd starlight has been canceled, 1st one had no street preformers.
Oh for sure!!!! It’s no fun. It does remind of Disneyland Paris though!I have concluded that all the people who have said that this weather is nice for the parks need to have their heads examined.
Why not ?I truly don’t understand why TBA was even open today. It should be closed tomorrow. The absolute last thing guests should do this weekend is a water ride.
Coming from Ohio and Cedar Point, there may be delayed openings for Everest and the Universal coasters due to the temps and any wind.
That said, I'd rather be at the parks in this cold than the Orlando summer heat.
I’m not sure why they are building TLK for that exact reason, if I’m being honest. It’s always felt like a “can we build this?” more than a “should we build this?” decision. Why not ?
If water rides closed in colder weather why are they building a water ride in DLP . It would be closed 6 months of the year.
Surely there is an option to dial back some of the extra splash effects.
Maybe us Europeans are just built tougherI’m not sure why they are building TLK for that exact reason, if I’m being honest. It’s always felt like a “can we build this?” more than a “should we build this?” decision.
They likely can turn off most water effects here where guests could get wet, but they can’t dial back a 5 story drop. Shut it down for 2 days and give maintenance a chunk of time to work on fixing things that aren’t working properly.
From a girl that frequently ice fishes in the winter, neither is much fun.Animal Kingdom Lodge has limited pool hours, 11-5.
I think this depends. For standing outside for long periods of time? Heat. Spending time in and out of buildings? Cold.
