MK Piston Peak and Villains Land Construction Thread

if these are literally the sizes of the buildings, it would be a lot less than I think we are hoping for..but this is most likely not based on the actual building footprints...but areas for wastewater... perhaps... Maybe it is retention ponds or water feature areas...
The biggest building is bigger than HM, and no one thinks that’s a tiny ride. They just built particularly enormous buildings in recent history.

Also, don’t read too much into the position of the railroad tracks in this drawing. Since this plan is solely for the wastewater system and its connection into new structures, no other changes are depicted - it’s simply overlayed onto an “existing conditions” MK plan from before construction started.
It’s notable as there is new work in the water management drawings that respect the railroad alignment.

From my understanding, the facilities in this drawing are all structures that will have a connection to the new wastewater system (green line) shown throughout the plan. There are also 21 new manhole covers that are part of this system.

I did some rough measuring of the main three facilities:

Large Villains “building”: ~70,000sqft
Second Villains “building”: ~48,000sqft
Cars Land “building”: ~40,000sqft

I brought it into Google Earth and measured it from there. They're a little bigger.

I think this one makes the most sense as a new train station. The larger footprint to our left is too close to the existing Frontierland train station and is likely an attraction with a tunnel or comparable (ala Tron) for the train to go through. This one is more to the rear of the park and would make for a new back entrance to the the land and to MK.

Pretty Exciting stuff! I'm hoping the building to the north of the big show building is a Villains Land train station, it sure looks like it. Does anyone know if it's size is comparable to the other train stations in MK?

The Frontierland train station is to the left in this photo so not very big.

Could the "Facility" on the bottom be the indoor portions of the Cars ride?
The southeast large block is where Piston Peak itself is supposed to be. A cave system is suggested beneath it by the artwork. The southwest angled section looks like it's about where the indoor queue entrance is, so probably load/unload is in there. You seem to exit to the outside from the southern horizontal portion. The western vertical space could potentially be a re-entry area, but it doesn't quite look like that from the art. I'm wondering if maybe it's backstage support for the water/geyser systems and whatnot.
