…the employees take forever to load/unload. They do a lot of standing around looking at each other blankly.
This echos my one and only time riding it. The wait was excruciating, considering how few people were in front of us in line. I’m sure the ride has some charm, but at the time the experience certainly didn’t seem to justify the wait.

It's gotten worst with the Six Flags management takeover. They act like they can't hear you.

To be fair, this is nothing new with Knott's.

I've been going ~once a year since 2017 or so and it has ALWAYS been like that on near every ride.

I can't even blame it on the park's operating company because I know that that company has, at minimum, two massive parks in Ohio that school basically everyone that isn't Disney or Universal with ride operations, and I've heard nothing to imply that anything changed this year at those parks. I've even seen Magic Mountain with efficient ops at times.

It's 100% on Knott's that they can't get their stuff together operationally.

I don't think it ever bothered in the last couple of years because I would show up for the meal plan and watch a show. Now that they cut the shows and Montezuma is still in pieces, I think I can skip this year.

I've got Disneyland tickets for next week. I hope I remember how to do it.

To this point, I was at SFMM over the holiday break and for the most part they were running things pretty efficiently all things considered. Compared to Knotts which I don't think I've ever seen run things efficiently. 3 minute dispatches are quite the norm it seems, making even slow days have long waits. Ghostwriter is unridable without some skip-the-line pass, as is Silver Bullet and Hangtime.

Same exact experience. Every time I post about how long then load/unload takes at Knotts its Beary Tales that sticks out the most vividly due to how excruciating that experience was. I think we waited like an hour in that huge holding pen only to stare at them loading vehicles for like another 30 minutes in what felt like it should have been only another 5 minute wait.

Looks like new footers are being installed on Montazooma track up to the loop. Holes are dug with rebar being added. We might get a summer opening for this one finally.

Knott’s will close down its Johnny Rockets this April and retheme it to Knott’s Beary-Tales “Crafty Kitchen”. I’m not really a big fan of the design.

I feel like Knott’s has really hit a lull over the past two and a half years. Montezuma’s neverending delay and the half-assed camp Snoopy redo didn’t help either.

There is the new Fiesta Village area and the Memory Lane section that received upgrades. Not like you are going into Camp Snoopy. That area actually looks very nice now.

Pardon my ignorance, why exactly is the Camp Snoopy redo such a "failure"?

Granted, I'm neither a parent nor someone part of the target audience, but it seems more or less the same to me as it was before.

I think he thinks since it didn't get the theater, its a failure. That area is actually a nice picnic area. If you need a toddler show, go see Bluey at Disneyland.
