Where? That hasn't been reported yet. Or have I missed it?

From @wdwmagic in October:

In the meantime, Kusafiri Coffee & Bakery - located nearby in Africa - will expand operations to offer lunch options. Menu items will include:
  • Harambe Chicken Rice Bowl
  • Plant-based Picadillo Rice Bowl
  • Harissa Chicken Wrap

Thanks. This helps bring everything current. Burgers and comparable in Harambe Market. Rice Bowls and Wraps moved to Kusafiri.

Thinking more - I don't hate the burger and chicken fingers in concept. I just wish they had more interesting toppings options (much like the Mara does). They could still use the same base and have the "plain" options for less adventurous folks. But, offer some African-inspired versions of each as the primary offering.

Yeah this was just lazy. If you must have frozen $1 burgers and fries fine, I get it, some people are picky. But come on, you can make a tiny little attempt at making it sightly more interesting than that pathetic menu.

I'm afraid we're going to need you to tone down the logic and common sense and be more outraged that the hoity-toity foodie crowd isn't being 100% placated.

It's sad they took away the unique options. Not sure why they couldn't have added the necessary equipment for basic theme park foods while maintaining some of the old options.

It's also worth noting that Kusafiri didn't previously serve later meals, so between its bowls and Harambe's savanna salad and wrap, you at least have something approaching the number of theme-appropriate options that you had before on top of the added burger and chicken fingers. However, like others, I do wish they had both a spiced variant of the chicken fingers and a secondary option for the side instead of fries to make everything feel a bit more considerate of the location.

It definitely would have made more sense to add burgers/chicken fingers somewhere at Discovery Island.

This would be far more expensive (and likely wasn't even considered for that reason) but some kind of overhaul of Isle of Java into a burger/chicken fingers place would have been a great move. There's already a Starbucks at Discovery Island so Isle of Java is kind of redundant.

I suppose there may be some contractual clause with Joffrey's that requires them to offer it in the same area as Starbucks, but they could always do a new little kiosk.
