Trip Report Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho it’s off to TR’ing we go!!

And I swear, before anyone thinks I’m biting off @wdisney9000’s title I’m not!! I had the title in my mind while I was on the plane. Imagine my surprise when I opened up this app & saw his latest!! I debated but it was hard enough for me to come up with that title much less pick another one. @wdisney9000 I hope you’re ok with this!! And more importantly now that I know we’re both here at the same time I hope we get to meet up again!!

Ok, here we go!!

Here’s the crew(in the elevator-interesting place for a pic) when we first arrived here an hour ago!!

Leaving cold, dreary Pittsburgh behind!!

In a much warmer climate!!

We have a 1BR in The Springs section. Literally right across the street from the main building. Perfect!!

Check out the new soap/lotions!!

We headed to bell services to pick up our groceries & when I looked at the app I saw that they canceled our order!! I placed it again & it should be delivered this evening. I don’t understand why but the silver lining is that I took off the hand soap now that Disney has liquid in the room. We normally always order a liquid one so it saved us a few bucks!!

I had remembered that some of Taylor Swift’s costumes from The Eras tour were on Display in One Man’s Dream. I’ll be the first to admit I really don’t know her newer, more recent music-like I’m talking the last 10 years worth or so!! But, when H was little/younger I took her to 3 Taylor Swift concerts over the years. Anyhow, I thought it would be cool to check out her costumes.

We met back up near the front of the park. Darstarr was watching some pop up performers while we said hi to Chip N Dale.

But, I have no photographic evidence. Apparently I didn’t take a single picture!! H & J took a ride on Remy. Us 3 headed to LaCava but the line was again insane!! We walked(maneuvered) the crowded WS then met up with H & J at The Boardwalk.

Everest was fun & chilly!! It also felt very different riding it in the dark!!

We made yet more friends!! And I firmly believe it’s all thanks to @wdisney9000!! Everyone wants to hang out with him!! Right @wdisney9000??

When we got back to The Polynesian we had a late night snack before bed.

This morning I went to get a coffee from Kona Island. There’s always a long line there & today was no exception. While waiting for my drink the lady who had been in front of me was standing right next to me. It was taking forever. They called her name for her first(of many) drink. Then again & again & again. She had went to the counter & was organizing her drinks. My thoughts were, “wow, this girl must be thirsty”. After about the 5th drink(& saying her first name each time) it hit me like a ton of bricks. It was Lacey Chabert!! They were filming a Hallmark Christmas movie today at The Polynesian!! Now it makes sense as to why the resort still has all the Christmas decorations still up!!

I didn’t want to be a creeper but I had to snap a picture(or 2) to document the occasion!!

We had some time before our lunch reservation so we sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather!!

This was our first time dining here. We really enjoyed it!!

Darstarr had the teriyaki chicken sliders and I went with the Poke Bowl with ahi tuna.

After lunch we took the boat over to MK. Wait times were pretty high.
We took a ride on The Peoplemover first.

We got an extended version of CoP bc someone decided to leave the theater during the show.

We paid the birds a visit.

Then we watched the parade.

Then it was time to head out.

We went back to The Polynesian then it was time to leave. Darstarr dropped me off at the airport & now I’m back home.

I saw a lot of the same people that were cutting the line at the entrance doing the same thing at Guardians.

Hi! Friends who recently returned said they noticed an increase in line cutters all over. Great…. Come on Disney do something about this!

I’ve made wonderful friends over the years all thanks to trip reports. It’s always a blast being able to get together with them!!

I just can’t believe the nerve of people!! I would feel horrible if I did that. Of course, I wouldn’t think of doing it to begin with!! Yes, it needs addressed somehow.

Oh man!! I wish I could(& I would) but I have a wedding to go to on Saturday so I can’t fly down until Sunday.

Got to admit it’s going to be a long week. Tons of snow & cold!! And I’m already exhausted. Working in a grocery store before a storm wears you down-mentally & physically!!

You’re predicted to get more than us. We’re in the 8-12 range. I hope it does for your sake. It’s supposed to start at 11 tonight here. I work until 10 so I hope they’re correct.

I work 1-10 tomorrow & I’m quite concerned about getting to work bc that’s when we’re supposed to get the most.

We got on the next bus at 8:13 & made it in the park by 8:30 for early entry!!
Side note-we would have made it in sooner had it not been for the overwhelming amount of people that felt so free to cut the line. It was appalling.

J was a happy camper. We were seated in row 1 without asking(which is what he wanted) & we got the song he was hoping for-“September”!!

We went to Test Track next(via single rider). From the start of the Guardians line until the time we got off it was only an hour so that wasn’t bad but Test Track was showing 80 minutes at this point & I didn’t have it in me to wait in another decent line again so single rider it was!!

It was 10:30 & WS was an absolute zoo!! Lines were already forming for food booths that weren’t opening for 1/2 hour! The line for LaCava was all the way out into the lobby when you first walk into the pyramid & it wasn’t open yet either!! No Pepe’s Special for me!! The lines were unbelievable everywhere!!

I don't know how I missed you writing this TR Patti but needless to say, I was thrilled when I opened up the TR forum board and found this!!! I heard some of your adventures from Darstarr when I saw her last week and it made me wish that I could have arrived earlier in the week to be a part of the fun together!!! I agree about the line cutting that seems to be happening more often at WDW and I wish the CM's would say something! We loved our meal at Wailulu Grill at the Poly during our December trip! Once again, your TR's are always such a pleasure to read and I appreciate you taking the time to entertain us with your adventures. Hi to the crew for me!
