the lift/loading station looks amazing how it lifts you to the ceilinng! I love that finally disney has a hanging coaster I love having my feet dangle

If they have some "dark ride" segments, it can be longer, of course. I can't figure out if the track layout suggests this, though. Maybe at the very beginning, when it's going from the load station to the gravity building (but that looks pretty short)?

I feel like the dark elements could occur at any point, physically in the building. Having the other coasters whizzing by in the semi-battleground wouldn't have to be out of theme since in the movie, there were always doors moving on other track around them so doors in motion as well as another train or two doesn't seem like it would be out of place in an ambient sense.

... Unless they end up somehow doing something where they are sent through a door and are supposed to momentarily be in another place before passing through yet another door to return, anyway. that would actually be pretty cool but I suspect that's expecting more than would be possible from a design/safety perspective because passing through a doorway, it would have to be an unrealistically big one to avoid arm's reach from riders.

I didn't even know what "Guardians Of The Galaxy" was prior to the first movie let alone think it would end up destroying DCA's Tower of Terror and Universe of Energy. Not that I am a Marvel fan anyway which I have always thought Disney owning it was a bad idea since 2009 for this exact reason.

I mean if something is objectively better, why should it not be able to be replaced? Do we accept something being more mediocre now just because it was there first? (I'm not calling Pirates mediocre before you jump on that, its a great ride but like I said, anything can realistically be replaced)

i don’t agree with that - I rode the Paris version a year ago and thought it was an excellent experience.

I mean if something is objectively better, why should it not be able to be replaced?

Shanghai Pirates isn't even as good as classic Pirates.

It's a very good ride, but it has too many sections that rely on movies. I'd love to see the system come to WDW, though, because the potential is there for something amazing.

If you want the classic, go to Disneyland. WDW and Tokyo are where Disney is a lot less afraid to try something drastic sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t
