DHS Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Why do they need to? Why isn't it a good thing they built an original concept ride integrated to Epcot's framework of technology-focused pavilions (Wonders of Xandar pavilion and the cosmic generator)? Are you suggesting a Marvel IP land was a better vision for Epcot?......
A bit of a “stretch” there

Not a controversial opinion

It’s a THEME park…which usually should involved some type of theme., no?

1. It’s in the wrong place
2, they let the previous attraction rot for a decade plus (how ole walt drew it up)
3. Its using an ip that they really don’t have the rights to
“Get an Uber up I-4 for Spiderman!”

You can like the ride just fine. But That changes nothing of the reality of what I just told you. Two things can be true. It’s a reach and is miscast.

I won't argue any of these things (except the third...), but that doesn't mean people who like the ride are unintelligent or stupid, as the person I originally replied to said.

No…it’s a fine ride. And of course people riding it aren’t “stupid”

But it does point to how Disney looks at its customer base and what they can get away with…and that trend has been moving away from impressing the valedictorians

This is the place that successfully charges people for 2/3 of a day…charges them to get on rides (after they already paid for them) during the day…shuts the park down in the evening and then charges basically the same price for the last 4-5 hours AGAIN.

and $60 for bacon at breakfast.

It’s stranger than fiction

Welcome to literally all theme parks? Is this your first time?

So that’s what it’s like to be on the left side of the belle curve? 🤔
Little too much of those lead fossil fumes I think if you can't see that a coaster on an IP people care about is a 10x better ride to almost anyone than.. the ride that glorifies oil and coal because its sponsored by a big oil company and presented to you by a toxic workplace boss and someone who is vehemently against global warming!

Nobody was suggesting the politics of it…or the ride system.

It’s just bizarre to shove your comic book in your “edutainment” park

Now hush before you call a property that’s been known for about 8 years “beloved”, hombre

Something has to be older than you to qualify for that title

Intersting how you’ve never addressed your claim regarding the rights.

This door coaster better deliver, and I think it will. But I'm pleased they're making RRC into the electric Mayhem. I may be naive but I'm optimistic about both of these projects. Lake to the party on this thread, but I'm far more optimistic about this than the Cars Concrete Adventure at MK haha

So........Anyway, about that Monsters Inc Land... Has there been any further mention of the Show they will be putting in....the Food coming to the old Pizzerizzo? Anything to talk about?
Personally my biggest concern is that we get something on the level of Zootopia in the MV3D theater. I think if we do, Bob may need to enter witness protection
