Or haven't been there about the same time they ever went back before said changes..Who has spent enough time in that building in the last 10 years to notice?

That was a quip about the state of decline the building has been in for a while not a personal comment.Or haven't been there about the same time they ever went back before said changes..
Same! I went in May 23 and was on the ride and assumed it was still there.Wow, I didn't even realize it was gone!
Here’s another look from Walt Disney Imagineering:
I was indifferent at-best while the sign was "Dreamflight" (Take Flight), but I never not hated the Buzz sign. GOOD RIDDANCE!
Sign demo has happened
Ehh just patch some of the gaps, give it a good coat, and good as newThe exposed concrete looks rough? (but I know little about such things)
I will miss that old render of Buzz. Something about his face, the smirk, and the way his eyebrows are drawn always resonated with me. This refurb is going deeper than I ever imagined. I fear that the music will all be changed and lost to time. Only a few tracks have high-quality rips saved online. Either way, super excited this ride appears to be getting the TLC it needs.
I agree. Very unengaging queue. Cute murals and a cool animatronic, but I hope they have added some more dynamic elements and maybe leaned more into toy-scale props that TSM does so well in its queue.yeah, I may have been too cynical before regarding how quick the turnaround should have taken, but if they're actually doing proper work to it that will be nice. The queue has always been such a let down besides the animatronic. I realize it's a small space but I feel like there's a lot they could do to improve it.
I wouldn't trust them to do it right for the foreseeable future. There’s only so much that can be done with this space unless they decide to get rid of the Laugh Floor. Glad to see they’ve decided to give the ride a much needed “plussing”. I imagine we’re not going to get any big projects on this side of the park for the foreseeable future so gotta take what we can get.
Following what's already been announced for Buzz and CoP, it actually doesn't really need big projects. It needs one Big Thunder-esque rebuild (Space Mountain), modest show replacements for Monsters and Stitch, and some new window scenes in PeopleMover. Speedway is the only attraction that could really use a complete do-over (especially with Piston Peak coming), but it also wouldn't be the worst thing ever if it just converted to electric and got a queue and landscaping refresh.I imagine we’re not going to get any big projects on this side of the park for the foreseeable future so gotta take what we can get.
yesterday TPM suggested it's likely because of the asbestos....idkThere’s only so much that can be done with this space unless they decide to get rid of the Laugh Floor. Agreed this is a likely a good synopsis of "best case scenario" for WDW TL for the foreseeable future.Following what's already been announced for Buzz and CoP, it actually doesn't really need big projects.
