STORM CHASER

pgqf78tj0f531.jpg

RailBlazer comes to Dollywood! Renamed Storm Chaser, the coaster is placed inside a show building adjacent to Tennessee Tornado. The ride will now act as a sister to that one, themed to an amateur storm chaser from the town the tornado hits wanting to get a closer look at the twister. As rider's ascend the lift, they will see the tornado on a large screen and get sucked into it. The twists, turns, and upside downs will simulate getting trashed around inside, complete with lighting and wind effects in the building as well as an on board audio score.

Finally got round to this. Been busy at work and all. Please note I know bare bones about Six Flags, so this might be a bit hit-and-miss.

COYOTE FALLS

RailBlazer from Great America goes down under to Warner Bros. Movie World in Australia, where it becomes the headline attraction for a brand new Looney Tunes-themed land. The ever determined Wile E. Coyote (Coyote gravitus loserus) continues his pursuit of Road Runner, using the bright red Acme Rocket Sled to match his prey in speed, but as always, things don't quite go according to plan, sending guests on a wild flight around Coyote Falls - ending in Wile E flying into a pile of Acme dynamite and holding a sign reading "I blew it!"

The Big Band Cyclone by @Disgruntled Walt

I am SO glad I removed all restrictions on realism for this round because a Gold Striker relocation to DisneySea solves so many key issues, that being the “dead space” of Cape Cod, the park’s need for a major thrill ride and coaster, and a fitting theme connection to the American Waterfront with the subtle boardwalk theme. Gold Striker is one of my favorite woodies of all time and it has such a fitting spot at DisneySea. My one note that I want to point out is that there’s technically already a boardwalk themed area with TSMM, but that’s such a small thematic issue that doesn’t take away at all from a fun pitch!

Speedy Gonzales’ Rodent Races by @Brer Panther

What a fun and wacky idea! I will admit that a wild mouse coaster that is often regarded as one of the most thrilling and awful coasters in America being relocated is not my top choice. The theming however is on point- a fitting placement in a zany Bugs Bunny land, a collection of eclectic giant mice wearing sombreros as ride vehicles, and the cheese stuff is quite a hit in the ballpark! The side note of the vehicles rising out of a mousehole is also a really fun touch.

Dad of Beast by @ThemeParkPriest

Wild One is one of the most controversial and exciting wooden roller coasters in theme park history. It’s an absolute classic and must-do- which makes its permanent closing just so disappointing. Breathing it back to life in King’s Islands is a cool and fitting tribute to the ride. The “Dad of Beast” theme is so wild LOL would Dad of Beast be Son of Beast’s grandfather or father? Woodies remain superior!

Storm Chaser by @Mr. Sullivan

What a perfect pitch! As someone who’s super familiar with your love to Dollywood with it being your home park, Storm Chaser acting as a retheme of RailBlazer is literally perfect for the park- not only could it use an excellent single-rail RMC, but the shape of the and its layout being a tight mess of smooth perfection COMBINED with the conical style drop gives an absolute service to a stormy tornado theme! And THEN you combine it with the Tennessee Tornado to make it a paired experience – just an overall wonderful concept.

Coyote Falls by @Evilgidgit

As seen in the Speedy Gonzales pitch earlier, I can really feel the passion that the forum has with Looney Tunes- and it’s a great thing! The double-edged meaning of “Coyote Falls” is so perfect, as RailBlazer with its literal “fall” drop and the grandiose canyon-esque theming works so well for this ride. I do question if Railblazer would work well as an anchor towards a completely brand new land- it probably works better if you dropped the ride down into an existing Tunes land and rocketed it to stardom. Great story overall!
