I knew intuitively that the sequels would likely suck on the day they were announced.
I couldn’t comprehend how they make a mistake after the prequels…the minefield was already marked

I didn’t Do any spoilers prior….so i went in blind. And while I was relieved it didn’t look like attack of the clones first in…it went off the rails fast.

So probably 5 minutes after…it was clear they did a reboot and everything was on the second movie.

…the rest is history…a Greek tragedy.

But I appreciate the management trying to shame/shout down the old guard in defense…cause it was “our” fault. And many here towed the line…and now have slowly defected and acted like they admitted the truth with the “haters” back then…

…the north remembers

Kathleen convinced him that kids would be asking for the new characters, when in reality I have yet to meet a single human ever who has liked anything Disney Star Wars outside of Andor (and maybe Rogue One/Mando).

Kathleen Kennedy legitimate lost Disney billions in opportunity cost. Bob Iger let her do it too.

They could have easily paid for a new people mover with the money they could have made if the movies were actually well written and focused on quality.

I think Rey is pretty popular but that's really the only one

Some liked it…at first. But they predictably have moved off it because there was no substance or iconic moments. Which is the opposite of the OT.

So now it’s just an afterthought. Almost like they tried to fail. And succeeded.
Rey is huge with kids. Girls especially. Why do you think she’s sticking around?
Not really. That was a misfire

Move on

Again I’ll ask, what are you even talking about?
The sequel characters fell flat and were largely forgotten almost immediately. A date that wasn’t even suffered by the panned prequels to this extent.

Now…you can have your own opinion…or come up with data to support your claim….ill listen.

Do not get indignant and ask the same question again. State your case. I’m a bit bristly because I just got done being lectured about park history and what “they were like”…but the person wasn’t alive…so patience is a thing in short supply. My fault…I suppose.

I'm thrilled with this news.

It's ironic that six years later, this land will finally gain what Avengers Campus designers knew on day one: people want characters and iconic music.

And at the same time, Campus is gaining what it should've had from day one: more original attractions.

I think it's a win-win for the DLR.

When/how do they correct the Spider-Man mistake?

Quick searching shows 5 Rey minifigs made by Lego, I suppose that doesn't meet your made-up metric?
Go into a store and look and see if you can find one?

Compare it to the other “phases” of the IP.

Or a target…or a Walmart…

Do a little experiment.

There’s no “there”, there.

Disney cannot make these movies or further any references to them. It’s damage control. Jsut follow the sequence of events. That character has already been on ice for going on 7 years and counting. Ask yourself why?

All of a sudden Disney hates money? They are known for “restraint”? 🙄

He's actually fantastic Mando-era Luke. I had a wonderful thoughtful conversation with him.
I think everyone would agree that The Star Wars Holiday Special era is what today's audiences want.
