Hopefully, they can refresh it and then turn to the Hollywood Tower. Back in the day, we kept the place shimmering but things have fallen since then. It’s sad to see standards drop and guest satisfaction plummet but I simply couldn’t keep everything elevated forever.
It is a shame they never constructed an actual Tip Top Club dining experience... That could have been an amazing thing... Fully fleshed out Art deco ballroom with a separate set of elevators with a separate entrance...
The Space elevator restaurant is OK, but I would prefer to dine at the Hollywood Tower Hotel...
Perpetual night time and a storm passing though every half hour or so... what a thing that could be....
It could also have a Speakeasy cocktail lounge $$$ Just sayin'

AT least you are still there. They decided your sister hotel looked better with ugly paint and an oil rig attached to it.

Well this indeed may be something more than work "no guest would notice".
I didn’t say guests wouldn’t notice the work. The work itself will be noticeable and impactful. I said most guests won’t notice the changes when it’s complete. That was specifically in reference to the permit for set installation where few if anyone will notice the changes. This is refurbishment of existing facilities, nothing new.

How about this as noticeable to guests: Lengthen/strengthen the landing area as you exit the attic and move the Hatbox Ghost there, comparable to the DL version. This puts him where he should appropriately appear in the ride AFTER the seance scene. We can hope, right?

I was told it wasn’t related to a strength issue.

It would be the best possible thing they can do so obviously they won't do it.
