MK All-New Nighttime Parade Disney Starlight Set to Debut at Magic Kingdom in 2025

What does that mean? In stead of walking around on their float are they suspended from the arm above them? The parade moves slowly and that seems like a long time to fly!
I’m assuming they would be harnessed to the top of the float. During certain times during the parade they would take off and be lifted as part of the “magic moment” for the float.

Shocking IAAPA's members nominated Starlight, but they more or less consider entertainment to be the redheaded stepchild of the industry, so that makes sense.

I'd give the win to Tales of Magic here off the music alone.

I like all three, but Tales should win.

That show is amazing, way better than Happiness but I haven’t seen Starlight yet.
I didn't mind Happiness; one of the better World of Color variants, even if nothing can match the original World of Color or Season of Light. I'm probably a bigger fan of Starlight's soundtrack than most on here, but even then, Tales of Magic wins with He Lives in You alone, literally gave me chills hearing it.

He Lives in You is always a welcome and jaw dropping song to drop. Can’t believe their Pride lands show dropped that song too. My favorite part as well. Happiness is my 3rd favorite varient of WOC, but it’s not a high bar and I think SOL and the OG show are much better than it. But Happiness is much better then any other version of that show (and I’ve seen every varient but Winter Dreams 1.0 (did see 2.0))

Finally got to see this thing in person last night and I gotta say it really is a great parade. Of course like I and others have said it needs more performers and floats but in person the floats truly are stunning and music is great. During my performance there were no Butterflies or fractals but they started early since it was going to rain at 8 so I'm guessing that's why they were missing but otherwise still a great show. It really shines in person, videos do not do it justice.

Wonder if they were doing a rehearsal or testing tonight. Around 1am ish I saw a lot of search lights at MK that were slowly moving. I think weather conditions tonight made the search lights more noticeable but it almost seemed like there were more of them than usual….
