To be fair there is only so far you can go with the original topic all there is to say is a cast member was injured, he is expected to recover, and no guests were hurt. Theres really not much else to say.

^ bingo. This is a news site that automatically has its story connected to a forum. Just because it’s a forum doesn’t mean it has to last forever with extra stuff imo.

What happened is very sad, cast member did a great thing to try and stop it and was injured. I hope they heal up well and hope that Disney does something to ensure this doesn’t happen again, I like the vines idea to block off some areas that couldn’t potential cause the ball fo bounce out at

Eh, I think it’s better than having every single thread lead to the same select few topics all the time. If it’s worth talking about so much, it could be its own thread. Otherwise we get a million threads of “Disney is changing boooo” or “Disney is changing yayyyyy” and not the finer details and less surface level convos

In all fairness if the mods wanna stay on topic here then close the thread down… the incident happened and is done with. The CM is expected to make a full recovery we have details on what happened etc. So lock thread and move on…. Or continue going off topic as we always do.
