Just comparing it to what I paid last year for the same hotel for the same time period last year and the AP Discount for my Memorial Day trip is about $70 cheaper per night at the same Deluxe this year than last.

I had initially booked with a Bounceback offer, and the AP Discount save about $1100 over the Bounceback.

Just going through the rest of the hotels, I've never seen such aggressive discounts in quite a while.

So is this actually a good deal or not?

I think so, particularly if you can get it on a Value room. The typical discount on those rooms are smaller so getting 33% is a nice jump. Although when comparing rates at Pop for the current Spring deal and the new 2 free nights deal, the new one is only a little bit cheaper. Either way, you could get a couple extra nights with tickets for about $400. That seems alright to me
