So, my Pops birthday is on January 1st.
He turned 93 yesterday…!!!!!!! :joyfull:
We celebrated the new year and his birthday yesterday, at their home, with the traditional roast duck and more…!!!!! :hungry:

I enjoyed the Paella Caldoso back in September, it was delicious!, probably my favorite dish from the festival.

Hope it comes back this year. 🤞

New recipe tonight, Spicy Shrimp & Brussels Sprouts Stirfry. I served it over some fettuccine. It was delish!

I didn’t have a Thai chili so I used some red pepper flakes. 😅

(Yes, I clipped the recipe over a decade ago and never made it til tonight)

IMG_6587.jpegBroiled shoulder lamb chops, roasted potatoes and Stew Leonard’s “Brussels sprouts cook” recipe.

We’ve been eating dinner very late because 3x a week I go to my dad’s assisted living and bring him a dinner he’ll relish (the food isn’t awful there, but they do have to serve several ethnicities, which my dad (at 94) doesn’t go for.

This meal was delicious, but we are done in now, and may not even have the energy to watch television.

The Brussels sprouts are exceptionally tasty, so here is the recipe!
