Happy New Year!

So, I’ve decided to make my reviews a bit shorter so I can make them a bit easier on myself, as I had some trouble on deciding what to say last time. Plus, it makes them feel more distinctive from other review styles. Hope you all like them.

Animalia - @Disney Warrior

Although it’s not the most original idea, it perfectly represents what Animal Kingdom is about & stands for. Having all of the animals (no matter if they’re real, extinct, or imaginary) represented in an ensemble show about what makes them special would definitely be a welcome addition to the park!

Jungle Book Boogie - @Disgruntled Walt

Now this is a fun idea! The Jungle Book definitely lends well into a show, & each song having a different element included is just icing on the cake! This would be an instant smash hit with guests & would easily become Disney’s next beloved attraction!

Newt Show - @Brer Panther

I love how creative this idea is! Bringing back the characters from Newt is something I would have overlooked, but it would be a great idea to do so! Combined with the themes you’ve chosen, I could definitely see it becoming a major hit with guests & children!

Bambi’s Into The Wild - @ThemeParkPriest

Bambi is a great addition & a fitting IP to Animal Kingdom! I like the idea of the show featuring animals in the Tree Of Life & having the show being about them is a nice touch, & also including Love Is A Song is a nice touch. I am a little confused on what animals are in the show, but still nonetheless a very cute idea!

ROUND 5 | Most Viral Song of the Year: Olaf

Near the end of the last year, Disney dropped something completely unexpected that broke the Imagineering community - a life size Olaf animatronic! It wasn’t just any ordinary animatronic though, as it could walk, talk, and sing all on its own!

This has now opened up the possibility of even more iconic characters becoming more like their on screen counterparts. Now that Olaf has finally become more like his, who should be the next character to receive their animatronic?

The prompt:

“Name any Disney character (smaller than the average human) that should become the next living animatronic”

The word limit:

“1”

(aka the max word limit in the One Word Competition)

“You may also have one additional image per submission”

The deadline:

January 4th, 2026, 11:59 pm PST

(That is tomorrow!)

FINALS: THE GREAT AMERICAS

In November 2025, Six Flags America closed for its final season in Maryland. On the other side of the country in the west coast, California's Great America similarly announced that it would close its doors in the coming years. The tragic going of not one but two large theme parks in the United States would mark a period of sadness for the theme park community. A difficult task has come across the horizon: the 17 roller coasters across both parks would either have to be demolished or relocated to another theme park. Where shall they go?

Six Flags America closing: What happens to 5 miles of coaster? - The Baltimore Banner

Your Task:

Relocate and Retheme ONE of the 17 roller coasters from either California's Great America or Six Flags America (Maryland) to another theme park in the U.S., either keeping the theme or pitching a new one.

Realism is not considered- your coaster can be moved to any park (including Disney) of your choosing. Feel free to go as ambitious as you want with the theming!

Your word limit:

100

Gold Striker, a beloved woodie from CA's GA, has been meticulously preserved, repainted classic white, and inserted into an expansion of the (Great) American Waterfront area in Tokyo DisneySea (replacing the Cape Cod section; I did the math! You can make it fit!). What represents the classic American Waterfront better than a good old-fashioned woodie? Newly renamed The Big Band Cyclone, this coaster will make you feel as though you have walked through the gates of Coney Island in the summertime (but Coney Island maintained by OLC and actually beautiful!). Most importantly, this gives DisneySea another attraction for thrillseekers!

Okay, just work with me here... you take the Ragin' Cajun coaster and put it in the Bugs Bunny National Park area of Six Flags Great Adventure (assuming there's room). It's renamed Speedy Gonzales' Rodent Races and the ride vehicles are now mice wearing somberos. The track is decorated with giant cacti, cheese, etc. (the sort of props you'd see in an actual Speedy Gonzales cartoon) and somewhere there's an animatronic of Speedy cheering you on. Maybe you could even have the load area indoors, with the vehicles emerging outside from a giant mousehole.

Superman: Ride of Steel?

So you know how Six Flags America's Superman is a mirrored version of Ride of Steel at Six Flags Darien Lake? Well, I propose moving Superman: Ride of Steel to be right alongside Ride of Steel, creating a dueling coaster that barely duels. Heck, why not have Superman: Ride of Steel run backwards? To make this less confusing, Superman: Ride of Steel will be renamed to leetS fo ediR. Theming? Enjoy your unthemed switchback queues with minimal shade and a station that looks like it was made out of things from Spirit Halloween. Both rides look the same. Have fun!
