Park experience survey had some new questions this go around for a vist this Saturday. Lots of questions about cleanliness, seasonal offerings, decorations, crowds, and for the first time in quite a while, how the conduct of other guests may have had a negative impact on our visit. Also was a throw away question about construction.

Another survey for the 29th, very different slant in that it asked for opinions on current rides and experiences. It IMHO had the audacity to ask if Better Zoogether was the primary reason we visited Disneyworld this time, then our opinion on the attraction. Finally it when through a shopping list of each Madrigal family character and how familiar we were of each and if they were appealing. To me they this points to a concern that Zootogether is flatlining in popularity and they don't want to repeat it if possible for the Americas.

Funny that they didn’t survey how many people made a multi-day trip to be there for the last day of muppets, and the last day of the riverboat.
I would imagine that number would’ve only been somewhat notable for one of those things, and even then a drop in the bucket of the total amount of people present at the resort on those days

At toms event I met many people who flew down just for the end of muppets - as did I.

And then I flew back down again for the last riverboat.

So I would have added to both.

How many people flew down for the opening of zootopia?

My wife and I took a quick trip down and coincidentally were there when this opened to the public. So of course we did go to see it. After that very regrettable experience of Better Zoogether, we received that same survey. Now I have no issue filling out surveys, and I did take the time to let them know how absolutely vapid, illogical and confusing Zoogether was from a storyline perspective. And I didn’t have an issue with this going in the park as I don’t get tied up with park mission statements or IP additions. I just wanted an enjoyable show that made sense. This was neither of those. You literally could not follow what was going on, aside from the fact that you were somehow experiencing wind and water effects from a livestream. I still have high hopes for the Encanto ride though.

Interesting. We were there in November and I got a couple of surveys (focused mostly on the Starlight Parade, rides, and satisfaction with character experiences,) but what stood out to me was how deep they were drilling into demographics. Age, age at first visit, how many lifetime visits, who you were traveling with, where else you were going, primary reason for visit, income, Disney memberships (DVC, D23, etc.), if you attended Pride events, etc. - definitely got the sense they were trying to zoom in hard on who specifically is visiting the parks.

Bob loves that income question

Because it genuinely doesn't matter? Those people clearly didn't care enough to go to it often so them deciding now that they really really love it doesn't matter to the base rate of funds in the Disney company. In fact, it probably gives them a solid boost when said attraction closes down as there is some FOMO and a ton of people rushing to go buy merchandise and ride a ride that hasn't had a wait in years.

Well… the point of a survey is to find out why people are actually visiting. So I’d say it matters to an extent.

That’s an interesting statement. Implying that people didn’t actually enjoy something? Me and my mom went on muppets and the liberty Belle every single trip.

2 things that we we will not be able to do on future trips.

He’s a Disney expert, you know. You can’t question such impeccable credentials.

Of course I'm not implying that, I enjoyed Muppetvision 3D a ton myself and I'm sure many people enjoyed ROA, the problem is that these areas were by no stretches "popular" until they were announced to close. I would argue that Muppetvision was more so popular in a super fan way. But the fans simply weren't clamoring at the doors and driving up the wait times until it was far too late. That's all I meant by it.

Eh last time I questioned anything you said it went radio silent so I guess the pot is back
I stopped responding because I am more than tired of your “Disney is the BESTEST!!!!1!!” schitck and utter lack of understanding how nuance works in a conversation. You take everything literally. Have a thimble of common sense and critical thinking for once. Your place of residence will be well-earned.

Don't have that schitck when I have openly critiqued Disney a few times on here. And the fact that it was a conversation that I've had before, provided receipts but this time its magically "not good enough" and it was just hyperbole as if my statements are not exaggerations or hyperbole as well.

I'm pretty tired of me commenting literally anything on here, then you, in particular, always manage to make it about my appreciation for what Disney does to somehow invalidate my opinion. I've had no trouble having respectful arguments with people who VASTLY disagree with me and think my entire POV is difficult to understand when people just take a moment to see another side.

I, however, do have a hard time having a decent conversation when someone is following me around the forums randomly bringing up "Oh he's a pixie duster so his opinion is invalid!" (that was a hyperbole in case you didn't get it the first time)

I think you mean popular as in - running at capacity. So I think I know what you’re saying. But the muppets and the riverboat were both quite “popular” and part of the fabric of each park.

The teacups aren’t “popular” compared to one of the coasters, but they are often thought of as the definition of a disney park.

I mean you’re right on that aspect, ROA is definitely a part of the fabric of MK, but with the space utilized by it, I think something better could be done with that space without messing up that “fabric”.

Muppetvision, while I like it far more as an attraction than TSI, I’m not sure I would say it’s part of the fabric of the current park as the park has turned into a celebration of the movies rather than a “behind the scenes” of how they’re made. GMR was much more of a “fabric” of the park

“Followed you around”. Holy hell, you think highly of yourself. Ta ta.
I’m just recognizing a pattern man, it’s been like 3 posts over a few days that you’ve done the exact same thing. And I literally said in that next sentence that it was a hyperbole.

If you hate my “schtick” so much that it personally annoys you enough to comment everytime you think it’s part of it, why not just block my posts? This is a Disney fan page, if you’re so tired of hearing from a Disney fan, there are other options
