News 5 lawsuits filed against Universal and Mack Rides over Stardust Racers injuries

They’re payout chasers. They heard Universal settled, assumed this meant big money, and are jumping in on the action. One of them in particular is clearly just an opportunist:

I would be willing to say Stardust is maybe more aggressive of a coaster than they’re used to and it may have felt overly violent or something to someone unused to those forces and airtime. I do not however believe they were actually injured in any way. They just want a piece of a man’s death because they know Universal just might let them.

After the Stardust incident I've realised coaster in Florida have such a weird barometer of what is rough or violent or intense that puts them in their own sub-category from the rest of the world.

I don't class myself as a roller coaster enthusiast (as I prefer themed parks) but I've probably been on... 300-400 roller coasters and nothing in Orlando comes close to being remarkable when it comes to intensity or roughness compared to those I've been on across the rest of America or Europe. If anything I'd say Orlando does a very good job at offering highly accessible and enjoyable coasters that mimics the thrill and intensity of other coasters across the world.

I agree with you but I also can see how something like VelociCoaster or Stardust could feel extreme to someone only used to Orlando’s coasters because those two in particular are pretty head and shoulders above most of Orlando’s in terms of thrill

In terms of "injuries," I find Hulk the most aggressive and painful. How much money will they pay me for my headache? Can I get a payout in time for Christmas? Daddy wants new shoes.
