Still hoping for Sideshow Pete to be a part of it soon...
I wish this meant the tents that, in 1988, were meant to be temporary were indeed finally going away....but I know that it's not.Disney says the Dashing Disney Pals and Daring Disney Pals meet-and-greets inside Pete's Silly Sideshow will be temporarily unavailable beginning January 5, 2026.
Daisy Duck, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy will instead be greeting guests in Storybook Circus.
That is a much better question! There is space to do something with that land...Why are these tents from a land that was designed to be temporary back in 1988 still there?
I just wish they could do something better with this space…
I would agree, but the question is, what to you do with Dumbo? I could be argued that it is one of the most iconic rides in the park especially since is prominent in to much of Disney's advertising so I don't see them getting rid of it.
oh no....it's one of the only things in every castle park. I'm sure they can figure something out (I also see the days of the Speedway are numbered (last week's fire didn't help!))...so maybe something along the lines of what they did in Tokyo?I would agree, but the question is, what to you do with Dumbo? I doubt anything will change in our lifetime as M&Gs are at least as popular than ever....but I too see great potential...That is a much better question! There is space to do something with that land...
as long as they keep one...and Timothy.Do we really need 2 of these? I would love to see this whole circus area go away and become a Neverland section complete with a Pirate ship play area, skull rock, the works (remove water play area completely)...and a brand new double-tracked PPF. I feel like that particular ride still seems to be the most popular in the MK...and WDW deserves a better version of this ride...retheme barnstormer to the Lost boys... It would certainly give that corner of the park something new and dynamic... Maybe Tangled ride in the former PPF? adjacent to the Tangled Toilets...makes sense.....\
As far back as I can remember...Timothy and the Doormouse are what make Disney Disney to meI am all for keeping one, and Timothy...
Put it back, you mean?
That’s where the wishing well is, not where it was previously.Put it back, you mean?![]()
You're right, I was reading the map wrong. That’s where the wishing well is, not where it was previously.
Yeah... it would be off to the side of the castle welcoming you to Fantasyland... kinda like Astro Orbitor does at DL.You're right, I was reading the map wrong.
That would actually be a good concept. The "Circus" concept always seemed odd to me seeing as how that area opened not long before the actual Circus essentially went out of business.Do we really need 2 of these? Although I was happy they were nixing the pixies ....the "Circus" immediately struck me as a way to substantially reduce the overall cost of New Fantasyland...especially since they had a substantial increase in the cost in replacing the original basic M&Gs no one asked for with a brand-new (not done overseas first), relatively complex coaster with animatronics....That would actually be a good concept. The original plans were awful not that the alterations were a significant improvement.Although I was happy they were nixing the pixies ....the "Circus" immediately struck me as a way to substantially reduce the overall cost of New Fantasyland...especially since they had a substantial increase in the cost in replacing the original basic M&Gs no one asked for with a brand-new (not done overseas first), relatively complex coaster with animatronics....
