Do you think the Disneyland Resort will have bunting during the summer or will it be covered in Pixar Festivus (for the rest of us).

IIRC the 70th celebration goes through next summer so the decorations will probably be that.
Don't you think the 250th anniversary of the Country is a little more important to celebrate than the 70th celebration that would be going on for two years? It's not even the 75th milestone.

He's just going off what Disney itself announced, first for the 70th and again a few days ago.

It's fine if that's not to your taste, but at this point complaining about it's like shouting at a brick. We've known forever that this would be the case.

People will show up to Disneyland even if Disney had a parade of trained poodles walking on their hind legs.

Finally. Maybe they will return to the good old days again.
I should be clearer.

As much as many people here clamor for more of a "Vanilla Disneyland"/"good old days" sort of experience, it seems clear to me that Vanilla Disneyland is no longer selling without discounts.

The cooling of summer traffic even in with big, well-loved entertainment offerings being trucked back in, that should have brought in much higher numbers, probably rang all sorts of alarm bells within TDA, hence shortened hours even during the very popular Halloween season, with some cuts extending into Christmas as well.

The plan for next year is to go during a weekday while school is in session since most of my family haven't Galaxy's Edge or even Cars Land. I know. It's been a really long time. Funny thing is, no one really missed it. I'm hoping for a quiet day at either park.

The Walt Disney Company to Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary in 2026 Tournament of Roses Parade

,,,,Leading the procession will be a Disneyland vehicle carrying Mickey Mouse and friends adorned with patriotic décor and red, white and blue flowers. They will be joined by more than 50 U.S. military veterans who now serve as Disney cast members and their families, symbolizing the company’s deep appreciation for those who have served our country and now help create magic for millions. The selection of the flowers on the vehicle holds special meaning for those who serve our country in uniform.....

I meant the Disney version of Sam the Eagle from America Sings.
So the question remains, whether Sam from Muppets or Sam from Americas Sings or even Sam from the 1984 Olympics which was designed by Disney (who knew Disney had that many eagle characters named Sam), again are any in the public consciousness for celebrations like this? Also when was the last time that Disney trotted out Sam from America Sings in any meaningful way? 1990s?
