For a family with young kids? They'll hang out at Conservation Station for 15-20 minutes, plus the ride there and back, plus the petting zoo. A lot of people don't even go to Planet Watch, this will get them out there. I think those families could find an hour of their day eaten up going out there.
Yeah sure for a meet and greet that’s going to take at least 7 months to develop.

17 months, actually, going off of the original date of this thread. I'm sure they are putting the full weight and design acumen of WDI behind this to make it an immersive, magical storytelling activation like no other!

I Would be stunned if they will need a lightning lane just for the train to Conservation Station down the line just for Bluey..

Limited Edition Bluey Popcorn Bucket.

It will make the dusters and cupcake brigade wet themselves. The lines will be hours long.

Already planned, designed, and ready to be sent to the manufacturer. Virtual Queue code ready to be implemented. The only decision left is pricing on the bucket itself. TDO can't decide between $75 and $100 each.

I don’t see the train to Conservation Station handling the crowds for this.
If it's even the stage at the Affection Section..They are in a whole load of trouble as It's the only other theater there...

not that I want it, but if they did do an Oceania themed land it would make sense to put Moana in there too, could see a “Moana’s ocean adventure” type ride (so basically RIP animal kingdom)
Would a true expansion to this park be such a bad idea & have it be open later along with being a full day park?

Ah, Bluey is a dog. Dogs are animals. Animal Kingdom has "animal" in the name. That's a perfect fit.
Hey at least we’re getting a new animal exhibit out out of it, end of animals that are not yet represented in the park at that. I find that really exciting and if a Bluey meet and greet is what it takes to get that then that’s fine with me.

I really don’t see this as any different than getting to meet Kevin or Timon and Pumbaa at Animal Kingdom personally even though I do understand why some folks are bristling against it. I also have kind of always felt that CS is a weird section of the park that has always been sort of open to something like this so I’m not overly surprised that it’s going there. In the overall I don’t necessarily see it as a theme disruption because it’s ultimately just another meet and greet and a small show maybe, and it wouldn’t be the first meet and greet or small show with completely fictional animals that don’t really have any real connection to Animal Kingdom theme beyond being animals.

Now if this were a ride, I might feel a little bit differently, but it’s not. It’s just a meet and greet, and I won’t say that Disney has ever in their history been superthin locked in when it comes to meet and greets at the parks. They’ve kinda always had to bend over backwards, a little bit to fit, meet and greets in at places that are not Magic Kingdom.

A Bluey show and party at Fantasyland Theare? Come on, Disneyland! You do better than that! Why can’t you make a show that’s similar to Mickey and the Magical Map? Man, Disneyland is being hopeless right now!😢

They're not going to use Bluey to segue into anything actually on theme. Didn't we just do this with Zootopia? I thought we would at least have to wait for Humanland to open before the inexplicable optimism or inexplicable shock reset.
Disney says the new offering will let families "take a fun excursion to Conservation Station," with Bluey and Bingo leading playful activities. Expect animal-themed twists on familiar games from the show, including butterfly Keepy Uppy.
