Although trying to watch fireworks on the non-party Saturday night vs the crowds at the party on Tuesday was a huge difference. Incredibly frustrating experience with the crowd management making things worse at Magic Kingdom on the Saturday, then at the party it was pretty calm for fireworks and parade.
The good news they only last 15 Minutes and may not change for 15 years 😎

It’s flat…though travel statistics have risen proportionally pretty much since VJ Day…except in times of financial difficulty.

Are we in in financial difficulty? If that’s the conversation…then I’m willing to have it. But we have to acknowledge it.

Everything is always “booming” in Orlando…always. Just ask anyone associated with travel because the entire state and region is almost solely dependent upon it. The crane rental industry set up on either sides of I-4 would collapse otherwise. 😱

Skepticism is Healthy when quoting Orlando stats…is my stance. No one ever has to agree with me. Just as they can hate me even more when things “come around”

All levels of both the private sector and governments there benefit from fluff…it’s just how people “think” (term used extremely loosely)
So no data to challenge the numbers. You seem to frequently reject statistics and numbers in reports but never substantiate your position.

It appears Magic Kingdom park reservations for Annual Passholders are currently no longer available on Christmas Day:

I doubt it will. Recently once a park is showing no reservations it is staying that way.
Sorry, just saw you were referring to the 12/25 only. I was thinking the entire week, where last year park pass restrictions came and went a couple of times.

@wdwmagic , in this news article:

What does this part mean? Regular park tickets don’t need to select a park, so I’m confused.

Magic Kingdom Sold Out for Regular Ticket Holders Dec. 24-31

Alongside the Passholder reservation fill-up, Magic Kingdom is now at capacity for regular dated theme park tickets from December 24 through December 31.

That means guests holding a standard date-based ticket for any day in that range can no longer select Magic Kingdom as their starting park. These dates typically hit capacity early due to holiday crowds, extended operating hours, and the park's popular holiday entertainment lineup.”

If you buy a 1-day park ticket, currently you are not able to select MK as your park to visit on Christmas Day and New Years Eve, according to what I was just able to pull up on MDE. Example:

That makes sense.

But it is causing confusion across a couple of other sites. He might want to specify that he’s talking about one day tickets, not all regular date-based tickets.

Santa's float this evening at the 8:30 parade either hit someone's stroller or came bloody well close, as the float was unable to properly turn. Could be legitimately a a gap of less than one foot but the video I've seen from a friend of mine suggests an actual collision (rather unusual). Could not tell if a child was in the stroller.

Probably nothing, but it's the first time I can recall a float doing that in quite a while.
