Marching along...

First off, I am so incredibly glad that marching bands are back! I happened to hear someone mention it when we were there last weekend, but didn't catch any groups. It's not quite as iconic for a kid as marching down Main Street USA, but it's still an amazing experience.

@brifraz Can you find a band to bring? Or since retiring is it never again. 😁
Ha!! Although, I won't entirely rule out the possibility. My 'retirement job' is helping a small local college start a marching band from the ground up. Perhaps a trip to play at Disney could be a carrot that I dangle to help with recruiting... I've also been asked by some local HS groups to help them plan trips, but so far have just given them contact info for the best tour planning companies around.

Bring back the All American College Orchestra ALSO!
Fixed that for you! Back in college I had a few friends who marched with All American Marching Band (both at WDW and DL) and a couple who did some of the other groups. They all raved about the experiences. I also had a number of former students who were involved in the All-American groups. Definitely wish they would come back.

Follow-up... Bring back Future Corps!!!! (of note, The Disney Nation TM has posted all the studio recordings that Future Corps did at JMU in 1991 on YouTube... well worth listening to if you like drum corps)

Follow-follow-up... Bring back Hollywood Hit Men!

Follow-follow-follow-up... Bring back the Tubafours!

I could keep going with all the amazing live groups that I used to love seeing. They all added such energy and atmosphere. Now, I just try to catch every Main Street Philharmonic and Jammitors performance that I can. Glad they added Nola and the Eighth Notes at MK, but there needs to be more live music!
