You know what's funny?
It has! And I am sure it will stay that way regardless.Oh no! It’s been such a great year for you so far. I hope things get settled before you travel.

I feel your pain, flying to/from JFK/MCO beginning of December. I keep telling myself the shutdown will end by then. But here we are, and it keeps going, and going....Flying the week of thanksgiving. My outbound and inbound airports are both on the list.![]()

AA says the vast majority of customers will not be impacted. But, "vast majority" can mean different things to different people.I feel your pain, flying to/from JFK/MCO beginning of December. I keep telling myself the shutdown will end by then. But here we are, and it keeps going, and going....
I suppose statistically that's true, right? 10% is a low number. But it still has to come from somewhere, and it will stink for whichever people end up with flights cancelled.AA says the vast majority of customers will not be impacted. It did feel pretty dystopian waiting for confirmation from SW that our flight tomorrow wasn't impacted, but as of now we're good to go.I suppose statistically that's true, right? 10% is a low number. Here's hoping none of us here are affected.![]()
Best of luck to you! Push comes to shove, I'd rather be stuck at vacation than on the way to vacation, at least. It did feel pretty dystopian waiting for confirmation from SW that our flight tomorrow wasn't impacted, but as of now we're good to go.
I'm a little more concerned about our MCO-CMH return on Sunday than I am getting down there.
I know things are starting to look much better for me!It has! And I am sure it will stay that way regardless.![]()
Especially around the holidays when people like to travel. And we are getting close to that!People don’t want this . . . airline disruption.
That is probably true for right now. Right now is one of the slowest times of the year. It probably won't be difficult to re-accommodate passengers. As far as I know there aren't any big weather issues. If this drags into Thanksgiving....yikes.AA says the vast majority of customers will not be impacted. I'm preparing that I might need to drive instead of fly.Flying the week of thanksgiving. My outbound and inbound airports are both on the list.![]()

There were some grumblings today. Getting there. When the shutdown was announced I thought for sure it would last a week or 2 (like most), now I’m starting to worry about our flights for a DCL Christmas cruise in early December, we always fly in a day early so we have a cushion but it’s still adding unneeded stress. If it extends into Thanksgiving travel no one in Washington is going to be immune from intense anger from the entire country, they need to resolve this fast.
Yes, but it is an alternative way to get to Disney. It's only not on the list because it is relatively insignificant. Not a lot of flights to cancel.
It literally can’t last that long. Too many things will break including mass walkouts by essential federal staff who need to find other jobs to eat. One way or the other this will be resolved before Christmas. When the shutdown was announced I thought for sure it would last a week or 2 (like most), now I’m starting to worry about our flights for a DCL Christmas cruise
