Is minors a typo? If not, what are they?CMs are saying it’s related to trying to improve efficiency of adding and removing minors to the beam.
This morning it is back to normal direction but is likely to switch again later in the day.
Sorry! Typo, meant monorails. Is minors a typo? If not, what are they?
They used to go the same way but pilots would sometimes try to race each other, so they switched them to opposite directions, I think now with how automated the trains have become they don’t have that fear anymore, but that’s one of the cool things about working in a theme park, you can try new things and ideas, one like this is easy to revert back if they don’t see the results they want, or easy to keep if they doYou can't tell me it took them 50 years to realize convenience of switching. No, to me, this smells of some new manager either in the shops or operations just trying to make a name for themselves.
No, having the dispatcher on site and not eating at a Perkins is what would reduce the risk of that.could reduce the risk of another 2009-style collision
Huh???One way will not work because that would mean only one monorail train on duty. They can't do two without doing the same thing to the resort monorail. Only one way direction is possible if you run one train otherwise they would run into each other. There is only one rail for the express and the resort would stay using its own rail.
They might do that if they are planning to run them backwards for repairs on part of the track. They only have one rail for the express if what they are thinking about is the same thing that they are currently doing with the WDW Railroad. The same train going back and forth on that single rail. There is no reason to do that they always knew that they could drive the train from either end so that is nothing new. So I'm curious about what is happening. If they are just running the same rail all around, but in the opposite direction that they are have been doing now. It wouldn't be the first time they did that. Originally they ran in the opposite direction or backing up. My guess is that there is a project someplace on the normal line between MK and the TTC for the express train.Huh???
Thanks for clearing that up.They might do that if they are planning to run them backwards for repairs on part of the track.
