Which Route to take

The bus suystem sucked while I was there. I left our room early to catch a 7:20 bus to HS. I got to the bus stop at 7:14 only to see the bus leave. The next posted bus coming was 7:53. They shut down the Disney Springs boat to FQ I had waited a half hour for because of lightning. We walked all the way across DS to the bus station and waited 40 minutes for a bus.

Thanks for adding an update, but what about the dinner in question? It sounds likeyour bus problems were at other times during your vacation.

Were you able to get to the dinner on time? Was the meal enjoyable?

Yes these were just two examples.

As far as getting to my reservation; HS wasn't busy at all and actually ran out of things to do so we left early. Just for fun we rode the skyliner from HS to EPCOT. Walked thru the park and on the way rode Soarin. Grabbed the monorail to TTC and then rode the Ferry Boat over to MK (just for fun). We did a few attractions in MK and then took the direct monorail to Contemporary to Steakhouse 71.

Great meal and the price was a lot cheaper than I thought it would be.

That's kinda funny. You ended up taking the scenic route to CR!

My vacations never turn out quite the way I think they will. My most recent trip didn't go as planned either, but in a great way! I only planned to visit Tampa for a few hours, but we ended up spending much of the day there, and it was a great day!
