Interesting take, a single random video that supports your views is means for telling everyone else to shut up.

No one is telling anyone to "shut up". But its more than just one video, the entire industry doesn't really use adjusted inflation numbers when doing actual comparisons. And those that were have pretty much stopped since its a bad practice since so much in the industry has changed over the last 100+ years. So again its really only those that want to take down a movie for personal reasons that bring it up.

If someone wants to bring it up, be my guest, but we'll know why they are doing it and its not to try to have an honest comparison.

As there is nothing really major releasing until October with Tron, I could see it playing all thru-out September as a digital release date isn't set yet and likely not until the end of September. So a $530ish isn't out of the question either.

This is where patience pays off for Disney( the studio with the longest theatrical windows)…. Any other studio would of probably had F4 on VOD at this stage already

Old news. Don't they always earn a best visual effects nomination every year? They always did with practical effects in the 80s & 90s. It's like how Pixar is nominated for best animated picture every year.

Coming off the wild success of this film Disney should release a theatrical hand-drawn animation remake of FF:FS in November 2029.
