Looks like they returned tonight for the 2nd showingSeems like they temporarily removed the Encanto & Elsa street preformers, they've been gone for the past few showings.

Now that I've been thinking about it, I don't think the lawyers would squash it, there are similar stunts in Festival of Fantasy that have never been cut, like Flynn and the Ruffians swinging and the circus girls on the swings on second to last float. Hopefully they get it working! Plus I have to imagine they cast Peter Pan and Wendy in this parade with the intention of flying. It would really be a shame if the flying gets cut as you can really tell the Pan unit is missing something. As it stands now, Tink interactions seem to be the highlight. The float itself is nice looking but just lacks its own unique magical moment.
I guess very few will ever know if it doesn’t happen (since it hasn’t yet), but for those of us who do know, it’s fairly obvious given the character dialogue and movement. Hopefully the lawyers haven’t squashed it already!

What floats have a unique magical moment? The float itself is nice looking but just lacks its own unique magical moment.
What floats have a unique magical moment?
Blue fairy 2-way glass effect (which guests have to be lucky to see) - anything else?
We counting the manta ray on a stick as a magical moment?
Wow, look at those WISHES scoresWe just talked about this on the August 18 Disney Dish. Starlight's doing well, especially with the (most important) adult and seniors categories.
Here's the ratings so far, and other nighttime spectaculars for comparison:
View attachment 879087
- Blue Fairy: Pinocchio and Geppetto
- Wish: Star appears
- Encanto: The candle get brighter/final door
- Frozen: Ahtohallan/memories appear
- Royals: Float changes color
- Coco: Pepita moves up
- Moana: Gramma Tala rises
- Peter Pan: Pixie dust around the float and eventually(hopefully) flight
- Finale: Wish upon a Star/float changes color
Yeah…. A light changing color or screen getting brighter isn’t a magical moment.Way too many of these are only magical moments because it's not the float's normal state, not because it's actually something impressive or wow worthy.
Because unlike whatever was happening with this they had time to get clearance. Now that I've been thinking about it, I don't think the lawyers would squash it, there are similar stunts in Festival of Fantasy that have never been cut, like Flynn and the Ruffians swinging and the circus girls on the swings on second to last float.
