It must be bad though. I've been in a Vegas casino before where there has been a power outage in the whole city, but the property's generator has kept all the slot machines running, and the casino floor lights on.

Where is Disney's backup generator?!

We were walked out of the Remy queue. Lights are on. The food booths appear to be operating, but the lines are insane and I wouldn't bet on them continuing.

Not surprisingly, The Site That Shall Not Be Named produces this clickbait headline, "Nearly 45 Walt Disney World Attractions Unexpectedly Closed at Same Time"

I'm here during the summer every year and this is HIGHLY unusual. It happens because it's Florida, but it's just super unusual

I was in Captain Cooks and the power flickered. That itself is super unusual. Normally you can't even tell.

ETA: not to this extent. Normally if this happens, it affects one park, and that park is usually MK.

It's been a long time now and there is no information. A lot of people around us asking what is going on. They need to send out a push notification to people in the parks. Like they do for extended ride breakdowns.

I’m at Hollywood it seems like everything is running on local generators with no main source power.
We are in the lightning lane for ToT. It isn't really moving, which is unsurprising as it seems to be the only thing that has reopened. The cast must be having a horrible afternoon.

Had a couple of power surges at Beach Club about 90 minutes ago when the storms rolled through. Wasn’t as bad as yesterday’s, but all it takes is one lightning strike in the right place.

That’s where we were. In the restaurant building part of the queue. Got a recovery LL but decided to try and head back to the hotel (Coronado for D23) rather than wait for rides to come back. But we have been waiting and waiting for a bus, while all the other buses have come and gone.

We had two close strikes while we were in Remy queue but it took another 20-25 minutes before all hell broke loose. After the 2 close strikes I mentioned this was a storm that could take a whole park down.

We got stuck on the monorail once when it got hit by lightning. We were in the GF station when it happened so thankfully we were able to disembark. But it still took 2 hours to get to MK (before the walkway). Flooded bus from GF back to TTC and then bus to MK.
