Interesting choice. Not sure if the former holder of the post got a promotion as such though... Some would consider going from a park to a more behind-the-scenes role as a bit of a demotion (unlike the VP who went from a park to overseeing the call centers, it's a bit more nebulous)...

Overseeing multiple lines of business across the entire resort is considered a promotion.

Things I’d do if I were him:

-Ask WDI for a proposal for bettering Planet Watch (Like what they’re doing for Animation at DHS). Bring back the animal show, rainforest show and maybe assigned character meets back there.

-Have Entertainment develop a character breakfast concept for Tropical Americas (Bruno, Mirabel, Antonio, Isabela). Would PRINT money.

-Bring back entertainment to Pandora.

-Do something with the amphitheater that doesn’t include kites.

That's why I said some people. I've talked to multiple former park VPs over the years, and among those who moved higher (or laterally), probably half still considered leading one or more of the parks to be their biggest role. Depends on the person.

Hopefully, someone reminds the newly installed Grand Pubah what the word "Animal" in Disneys Animal Kingdom stands for.
Anything non-human?

Then again humans are a classification within the biological animal kingdom, so are guests part of the "Animal" within the Parks name in terms of "conservation"? If so then maybe Disney can work on that aspect.... How about "live human" exhibits....

Umm, where exactly is this conversation headed here?

And if there aren’t any animals in DAK, then my wife and I must have REALLY been lost on a few of our trips to that park.
