I just said the same thing elsewhere!Exactly this. Ages 10-20 needs a non alcoholic plan!

I agree with that as well. I’ve done the math many times. It pretty easy for the kids plan to be a good deal. But the adult plan is usually only worth it if you normally order alcoholic beverages at 2 meals per day. I don’t drink at all so the current plan really doesn’t work in my favor.Or even an option to include a specialty drink or not as some legal adults don't want/can't medically drink alcohol
(Like $5/day extra gets that added so still a "deal" if you want it but don't pay if you can't have it)
Maybe they are thinking about announcing it next weekend but want to gage public opinion? It hasn’t been sticking the last couple of years…so what changed today?
What has changed...? Hmmmmmmmm. It hasn’t been sticking the last couple of years…so what changed today?
Food and beverage price increases were approved internally, to be implemented in late October? What better time to announce the TRIUMPHANT RETURN!!! of the Deluxe Dining Plan than when you want to mask a price increase. It hasn’t been sticking the last couple of years…so what changed today?
I honestly don’t know anyone who has bought this since “the incident”…Food and beverage price increases were approved internally, to be implemented in late October? What better time to announce the TRIUMPHANT RETURN!!! of the Deluxe Dining Plan than when you want to mask a price increase.
I want to be able to convert credits again so I get more snacks during festival season.
You sound amped up…I’mWhat has changed...? Hmmmmmmmm.
But it's par for the course with Disney.
Take the exact same thing you had a couple of years ago, slap a different name on it and raise the prices.
And then watch the cupcake brigade loose their pixie dust over this new and wonderful thing that papa Iger has bestowed upon the unwashed cash dispensing meat sacks.
I know someone who did this past summer, but he likes paying up front for as much as possible so he doesn’t have to pay for very much once there. And there were 3 alcoholic beverages ordered (only one person couldn’t order because they are under 21) with every meal to squeeze as much as possible out of it.I honestly don’t know anyone who has bought this since “the incident”…
I’m sure that commensurate price increases will go to coincide with the increases implemented to show you’re “saving money” by paying the increased prices…oe something?

Wait… this was a thing before?I want to be able to convert credits again so I get more snacks during festival season.

Look at the cut in “Premium” offerings in just a decade.
How much do you want to bet that adjusted for inflation, whatever new scheme they’re coming up with would cost more and have much much much less to offer?
Ohh but the Rona changed everything…Ha!
That is the $12,000 a week question, isn’t it?I can only imagine what this new top tier will cost.
I do agree that’s not right…controlled substances shouldn’t be a mandatory cost…should be a surcharge that’s optional. The alcohol inclusion for a tee totaller like me is sooo frustrating. I’m basically paying more to subsidise others drinks.
I won’t buy even consider buying the plans till they drop this ludicrous inclusion
