Surprised they ripped out the entire courtyard.

I will also point out the obvious - Toy Story land has been criticized for not having shade and indoor areas…. They just tore down a large building that could have been used to help them not make the same mistake in this land.

I mean they are building an indoor coaster which makes it a very different approach than TSL.

Both attractions in the new land are completely indoors.

Even the playground had shade in the art work.

And both of the existing restaurants (which are being repurposed) are already indoors, not an outdoor window

I truly believe if the villains show was never a thing and they simply announced muppet vision 3D was moving to the cars theatre as they retheme rnrc to muppets to make a new muppets land and make way for Monsters, people would be so happy!

I truly believe if the villains show was never a thing and they simply announced muppet vision 3D was moving to the cars theatre as they retheme rnrc to muppets to make a new muppets land and make way for Monsters, people would be so happy!

Ideally….. they would have built a muppets coaster to be an addition to the existing muppet studios.

They could have then rethemed rock n courtyard to a Pixar theme(s) of choice.

Methinks it will make a future return. They just needed it out of the way for construction reasons in the area for now.

And all of DCA was built on a former parking lot. Some imagineers preferred it that way. Iykyk!
