Is there ANY chance it’ll be open sept 17th?
Taking my little nephew from The Netherlands to Cali for this ride alone. Hes been watching yt vids of it for years. The biggest little Cars fan. About to cry.
It went down around the same time Indy went down for its big refurb a few years ago, and then one additional time more recently I believe.Isn't this like the first or second time this ride has ever gone down for a prolonged refurb?
Going the same week and I haven't been to Disneyland in 6 years so missing Radiator Springs Racers would really suck. Crossing my fingers it opens before my trip. When do we think RSR is likely to reopen? We'll be there the week of September 22 and keeping our fingers crossed!
Was it really breaking down a lot? It ran for like 12 years without a major refurb, so that indicates to me it wasn’t actually breaking down too much or any closure was really short.Seem like RSR is equivalent to Disneyland Indiana Jones. Break down frequently. And too much.
I think it a needed refurb.
It’s unknown at this point the reopening date. But at one month I’d be surprised if it was still closed by the time your visit happens. When do we think RSR is likely to reopen? We'll be there the week of September 22 and keeping our fingers crossed!
I checked the app to see at times temporarily close, my last visit which was last Sunday. I was in line in the single rider. I waited more than 40 min downtime. The ride literally broke down when I reached the loading station. Was it really breaking down a lot? Every ride has downtime, but your post made it seem like its happening all the time and for long periods of time which I don't think is really accurate over its history. Its disappointing when it happens while you're waiting. And maybe its been more frequent recently, I dunno I'd have to see the data on that. But the ride literally ran for 12 years without a major refurb. It has been the work horse for DCA since it opened.I checked the app to see at times temporarily close, my last visit which was last Sunday. I was in line in the single rider. I never saw that, when did it stop?I wish they would bring back the fog in the tunnel right before the finish line. It made it look the cars were burning rubber when watching from the queue.
I think it was there for a couple weeks when it opened, and for a couple weeks in 2013.I never saw that, when did it stop?
That's why I never saw it, it was short lived.I think it was there for a couple weeks when it opened, and for a couple weeks in 2013.
Never occurred to me, a lot of guest like to record their moments. Regardless of any attractions.Or people are dropping phones and other crap onto the track an it has to be cleared off.
And then when you think about it, with as large an attraction as RSR is that is a lot of track they have to walk to check things after a stoppage due to guest property setting off sensors. And then they got to do test cycles. That is why a downtime takes 40 mins.Never occurred to me, a lot of guest like to record their moments. Regardless of any attractions.
