It doesn’t sound like the ferry boat captain handled the aftermath of this particularly well:

It appears that multiple people were tended to or treated by paramedics after one of Walt Disney World's ferry boats seemingly docked hard at Disney's Transportation & Ticket Center, according to the fire departments who responded, as well as photos shared with FOX 35 Orlando.

Now that Disney has made peace with DeSantis, things are back to Disney being able to sit on stories like this again.

Very surprised it didn't hit the Sentinel or the local news outlets quicker though. Even some MK CMs I know said they didn't hear about it until I mentioned the accident... The big law firms have been very quiet too. If John Morgan was rushing to take this case we would have heard about it already.

I suppose that a proper solution like closing down ferry service for a few days to bolt the trash bins to the deck was just too costly?
