Probably not. But both Blog Mickey and Corless had criticisms of the parade that were in line with what I've read here. Tourist Blog was higher on it but still noted the issues of it being sparse. I'm sure there are rave reviews out there but I've always found those websites to be fair. I'm still looking forward to checking it out in person soon.
Maybe I’m not looking at the right sites but I haven’t seen anyone defend the ground units.

At WDW that’s the case. At DL they shut down half the park and all the entertainment for a drizzle of rain or a hint of wind.
The hint of wind isn’t fair…. That’s just for fireworks and it’s a legit issue. They still do the projection show and often can still do the B show which is quite good for what it is.

Interesting. I was just sharing other places that have criticized the parade in ways similar to what has been posted here. I just assumed there were folks who are over the moon about the parade. But maybe not?

I don’t think anyone has commented about the hub tree lights turn to blue and also sparkle white like stars. Of course we know they turn on the hub light towers and those are blue. The castle search lights turn on as well. Missed opportunity to do similar for the rest of the route. Why do they insist on keeping the hub the place to be?
They should be lighting every outer tree lining the parade route, the goal was to have the same show no matter where you were.
