Rumor MK Space Mountain REVISED in 2026? (One track? side-by-side seating?)

If my memory serves me correctly. The last few did not make much cultural impact so I am not that worried.

The movements are exactly the same so they changed audio to fit. The audio used to refer to Red the Prostitute to show her "backside". Now it's show your "larder" or something like that. It's blatantly obvious.

The Auction Scene changes I can understand. It's the constant name dropping of "Captain Jack Sparrow" that bothers me.

It was probably one of the earliest indications that Iger's style of running the parks was going to be more about brand recognition than about immersing guests in a different world.

It’s also another reason Paris is much better than MK, you get Davy Jones on the lift, then no movie references at all in the town scenes except the Jack in a barrel. After the town you get Barbossa changing and Jack on the treasure hoard.

I am hoping that wheh they replace the track they are able to replicate it's current layout with the addition of a little more banking here and there for a smoother journey, and a quiet high speed lift. Add onboard sound, new show scenes and bring back the speedramp and I think it will continue to be a beloved attraction for another 30 years....

I would prefer no Davy Jones. Thankful he is gone in DL and WDW. Barbossa and Jack in the caves also messes up the story but yes Paris is relatively got the least impact from the movie franchise.
